这家酒店应该是之前翻新过，我觉得都挺不错的，位置的话也还好，能晒到太阳，我觉得这一点是很不错的，但是有时候晚上睡觉的时候就下水道有点响

A good option!
Pros:

Good location, and the manager of the hotel was very kind and welcoming, room was a good size for a family.

Cons:

The breakfast was quite limited, which was fine, but always brought out wrong. We were the only people in the hotel due to Tet, so I appreciate it was not running as normal!
There is a little maintenance needs to be kept up regularly.

I stayed in Cat Ba Island and honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the moment I arrived, the manager Kien was incredibly kind and caring,I wasn’t feeling well and he genuinely took care of me, even bringing me a herbal tea for my sore throat. Such a thoughtful gesture that really touched me.

The hotel also offered me a free room upgrade, which I truly appreciated. The room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a super cozy bed and a beautiful, relaxing view. The bathroom had everything I needed and felt modern and spotless.

Breafast was also really good

It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for peace and quiet, yet still want to be in a great location to explore the island.
Without a doubt, the best hotel I’ve stayed in and a special thank you to Kien for his rare kindness and hospitality! 💛

We had a great time at a lovely family run hotel that employed locals. Highly recommend.

L'hôtel bénéficie d'un emplacement pratique, à proximité des restaurants et des rues commerçantes. Des serviettes de plage sont également mises à disposition sur demande, ce qui est appréciable.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner reste assez limité en choix, mais il est possible de demander un bol de phở directement en cuisine, ce qui est un bon point. Le ménage mériterait d’être plus rigoureux. À noter également : l'insonorisation est quasi inexistante, les murs étant très fins, on entend facilement les bruits provenant des chambres voisines.

Cons:

Breakfast was really horrible. We couldn't eat it. They offered us a very small discount. The aircon broke, the room door jammed and to top it off they added a 66% markup to the transfer from Hanoi we booked with them. We know because we booked the exact same one with the same company on the way back!
