Pros:

Chambre assez spacieuse, des cours de yoga dispo en supplément, excellente localisation pour les principaux quartiers touristiques, salle à manger à disposition.

Cons:

Le sèche linge ne sèche rien du tout.

Hotel au calme
Pros:

Le personnel était très gentil et chaleureux. On pouvait utiliser une cuisine partagée pour se préparer à manger. Nous avions choisi un petit déjeuner préparé par l'hôtel. Nous avions chaque matin une belle assiette de crudité et mets salés qui changeaient à chaque fois. On s'est régalé. Dans l'hôtel il y avait des lave-linge (avec lessive comprise) et sèche-linges pas chers et bien pratiques. On était à 15 minutes à pied de la gare. La ville n'étant pas grande, elle se fait bien à pied. L'hôtel est calme et vraiment à côté du marché au poisson où se trouve plusieurs restaurants de poisson. Le poisson est bien frais, on s'est régalé.

The facilities were fantastic, the staff were lovely and helpful and the space made us feel very at home. Loved the communal kitchen and lounge/ reading area and there’s a space to do yoga / weights. So good!!

Great stay a Kanazawa!
Pros:

The hotel is really just a few steps from Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle, which makes it very convenient.
It's run by young staff who are very kind and helpful.
It's actually also a hostel, so guests can use a large shared kitchen to cook for themselves (something we didn't end up doing).
We had a special request regarding breakfast (asking for something sweet rather than savory), and they accommodated us wonderfully, even though I realize it was a bit of an unusual request.
The rooms are small, but clean and equipped with all the comforts you need.

Pros:

The hotel is located quite far from the station, but close to the castle park and the main traditional districts. The room was very bright and the bed comfortable. Staff was very kind and ready to help. There’s nice common area and kitchen for those who want to cook, as well as a restaurant on ground floor (booking in advance is needed).

Cons:

The building is quite old and the interiors are also quite old looking, the corridor on the floor is not accessible (it has three-four steps with no ramps, at least on floor 4), not ideal for wheelchairs or baby strollers. There’s no daily room service and cleaning of the room was not impeccable (we found hair on the floor). The bathroom was extremely small, as well ad the sink.

Parfait emplacement près du marché de Kanazawa.

L'atmosphère très chaleureuse du lieu et l'emplacement au coeur de la vieille ville.

Cons:

L'espace un peu serré autour du lavabo pour un homme avec des épaules larges (configuration de ma chambre).

Perfect if you need/want to cook for yourself.
Pros:

Comfy bed, quiet room. Shared toilets/showers are always spotlessly clean. Shared kitchen is big and well equipped. You can borrow umbrellas for free.

Cons:

As the rooms are small, I would add more hangers on the wall.
Smell from the kitchen is entering from the window.
The staff is very kind, but I personally did not like that they had dinner together with other long-term-staying guests without inviting us to join while we were sit at the table nearby. And also in other occasions, some long-stayers acted like the place was their home and annoyed by your presence. Please pay attention to these aspects and try to promote an open environment.
