Nothing
We had a wonderful stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast featured delicious locally sourced produce, and dinner was exceptional. Every detail was carefully considered, creating a truly 5-star experience.

Beautifully appointed rooms set in three or four former farm building all finished to an excellent standard. All of the staff were better than brilliant with nothing too much trouble. The breakfast choice was amazing and being actually served at your table was refreshing from the buffet style that seems the norm in some similar priced hotels. We had the evening meal once in our two night stay and regretted not having it on our second night. We will be returning.

The breakfast was amazing and the staff were all lovely
We booked a superior double room but it was far from superior. Room 3 was nothing more than a standard unfortunately
Beautiful rooms, restaurant & grounds/garden
Very comfortable bed & great shower
Wonderful attention to detail throughout
Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Peaceful and elegant
But most of all the food is amazing, worthy of 2 Michelin stars
The staff and quality of food.
It should be made clear that room 7 is based in the carpark - the only room situated as such. The breakfast room is situated in the front of the hotel close to kitchen for convenience and is dark on a beautiful sunny day. We felt rushed.
Fantastic accommodation, great location and very friendly staff made for a lovely 2 night stay.

Beautifully maintained, historical
Property was beautiful! Spotless, quiet. We stayed for a wedding nearby at the castle and cannot fault a single thing.
We booked a standard room and were incredibly surprised they had put us in ‘The Byre’ and it was stunning!
Incredibly thoughtful! They had left us a little congratulations on your wedding card from them.
Staff were excellent
Bed was uncomfortable
Everything. This is such a lovely place for a weekend stay. Amazing food, excellent staff, welcoming and hospitable atmosphere, lovely location...
The Nespresso machine didn't work in the room.
Everything about our stay was great, from the comfortable garden room to the great food.
