Very nice and great people working there
Pros:

It was spacious and had a large bathroom and the bed and pillows were very comfortable

Cons:

Didn’t know that the restaurant had closed and the new one had not opened yet

Die Zimmer, Sauberkeit und Personal

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist sehr enttäuschend. Da wäre es schon besser überhaupt keines anzubieten. Auch passt es für so ein Hotel nicht, dass im Juli Restaurant und Bar geschlossen haben.

One of the loveliest and best run hotels I have ever stayed at!
Pros:

Above and beyond customer service, gorgeous and spacious bedroom and bathroom, the absolute cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at, excellent location not only within Riverhead, but also as a weekly/monthly basis for scenic drives all over Long Island. The craftsmanship, esthetics, attention to details… shows that owners then managers want to do everything right. I first stayed 3 nights in the main building with voluminous spaces, then moved for a week to The Howel House next door. That renovation to offer all modern amenities in a mainly Art Deco style was superbly done, both by the designers and the craftsmen, beautifully maintained too. Even the communal areas and outdoor patios are expansive and most enjoyable. Bravo !!!

Cons:

Best enquire what a “studio” entails, in private and communal amenities, but all wishes were immediately and graciously granted.

Clean modern boutique hotel; best for couples or families with older children
Pros:

It was very clean and modern. It was conveniently located.

Cons:

The free breakfast was very basic. It was convenient but very limited in options / quality.

They don’t have cribs. Also no bathtub. As a result it’s not ideal for guests staying with young children.
