Conveniently located near Arusha ARK airport. Clean and safe with some maintenance issues (flickering lights). Not the most comfortable beds, but acceptable. Overall a good choice if you require easy access to ARK.
Good location close to airport. Huge room. Beautiful grounds and landscaping
From the moment I arrived until the day I left, everything was perfect! Big thanks to Glory and the amazing team for the warm welcome and great hospitality.
The booking was done through Moraka Africa Safari, and the communication was excellent from start to finish. I truly felt at home. Highly recommended – thank you again!
I spent a full week here for a work conference and, by the end, it honestly felt like home. The hotel isn’t the flashiest on the block, but it’s peaceful, quiet, and perfect for getting work done. The staff were upbeat and always ready with a smile—and they handled our crew of 20 like pros. On the days we camped out for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and endless coffee breaks, they kept the refills coming and made sure everyone was happy. If you need a friendly place that gets the job done without the frills, this is it. I’d book again in a heartbeat.
Der Pool war schmutzig und nicht benutzbar!
Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren schlecht.
We lasted an hour before checking out! Very shabby. Through no fault of theirs, the power was off, but they hadn't bothered to switch on the generator. The wardrobe door handle wasn't missing, it was lying on a shelf! The telephone in the room didn't work. The majority of staff were noticeable by their absence, until I went down to tell them we were going. A group of them were sat around chatting, three on the foot of the stairs, who reluctantly moved so I could get to reception!! Needless to say, we won't be rushing back! Please note that this review wasn't written on the spur of the moment, it is a week ago that we checked out!
Close to the airport, property not in great condition, i know this is Africa but i would give it 2-2.5 stars
We stayed there for 1 night after a game drive. Lovely staff, but terrible hotel. The room was full of mosquitos, there was a bright light in the hallway that couldn't be shielded, lots of noise outside and the air conditioning didn't work... Terrible nights sleep.
breakfast was horrible
1st i was a late arrival due to unforseen driving circumstances. Once i arrived the receptionist was asleep, the reservation details were not available or accessible by the receptionist, i was given my room nonetheless, the wifi in my room did not work, the remote for the heat and AC was not in the room it had to be delivered by front desk receptionist, no wash clothes were set up in the room as well. Otherwise, the people were polite and friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was fair. I liked the hotel and setting as well. The executive cottage was very nice.
I would gladly return and recommend it to others. However my lady suggested that they aren't up to standard of a 5 ☆ hotel. I'm not sure which level they claim to be rated as.
I stayed here, the place was very good especially foodies was tasty. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.
Attentive staffs and very welcoming. The view is authentic as you can spot Mount Meru very clear from the hotel.
I went there for swimming with my friends & paid for two people, I and one of the friend. Unfortunately she couldn't swim because of the health issue and we inform the supervisor for a refund. Supervisor refuse, she added that the money was added on system and was taxed with VAT, she added if I want refund I have to see the manager, we went to the manager, I explain the situation and manager refuse for the same reason. The hotel didn't gave us any receipt or even a ticket as a proof for payment. I ask the manager for receipt and they refuse, they told me, system is not working and if i want receipt i have to go another day (next day). I told her that will be challenge as I drove milles away just for swimming.
At last we decide to leave the place, and we hope never to return to that hotel.
Everything was good until it was time to leave. I prepaid my booking through Hotels.com but the hotel made me pay again or they wouldn’t let me leave and they said Hotels.com didn’t pay them. This is the second time this had happened to me.
Our family group (of 7) spent one night here prior to departing on a Serengeti safari. We had dinner in Arusha, so can't comment on the food at dinner. The rooms were large and comfortable, the bathrooms were large and clean. We found the mosquito netting and hung it ourselves. Breakfast had a fairly large selection of food.
The room wasn't clean. There was no muskito net.
The water in the shower was cold.
The beds were so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on the floor.
There was almost nothing to eat at dinner
nor breakfast.
Worst hotel we have ever been in.
Nothing to complain about. View from the pool over mount meru, wonderful staff and well worth the money! Also a perfect place to stay if your going for safari. Skip Arusha since it doesn’t feel safe and take a walk around the area were a1 is located instead!
good location
comfortable stay
courteous staff
good food
This is a hotel just a short distance from town and l would recommend to those that enjoy a peaceful afternoon out of town..a good swim, as well as a time to enjoy with loved ones.
The views are amazing as you feel you are on top and can see miles across and a stunning view of Mt. Meru when its clear.
The breeze makes it a nice stay especially on a hot afternoon, though can turn abit chilly at the swimming pool when its cooler.
A1 was a lovely surprise for us and we just had to go back with family as its a kid friendly place. The pool is big and so clean, the restaurant serves good and hot meals..especially the pizza. There's also a kids playing area with swings and so adults can enjoy their quiet time.
The hotel is rarely full and so a beautiful place to just step away from the hustle and noise in main town.
The staff are friendly from the gate keepers, reception to restaurant and special mention to the chef and waiting staff on knowing its a baby's meal, they brought it with extra sauce.
A place to go to time and again.
Great hotel in the outskirts of arusha town and near arusha airport. A great get away weekend hotel or if visiting and need some peace and quiet place, then this is a place to consider. Enjoyed the peace, quietness and especially the pool with Amazing views! Efficient staff and prices are pocket friendly!
I stayed 4 nights in this lovely hotel. As it was the rainy season there were very few guests. Our room was very spacious, the staff were lovely & very helpful, food good & breakfast ample with wide selection.
I've already booked in again this November I liked it so much!
