Stunning but not for me
Pros:

I’d love to rate this hotel high as it truly is unique and clearly steeped in history.. it’s stunning. Id say more for couples or wine connoisseurs

Cons:

unfortunately not for me.. as a solo traveller it was too rural with nothing around.. I found it quite dark and creepy with a slight musty smell due age I think. The room was dark and had no tea/coffee facilities. I didn’t end up staying as didn’t feel comfortable there and as I booked through booking.com, was unable to even get a partial refund.

Fabulous hotel
Pros:

What a lovely surprise we had on arriving, it is fabulous. Situated in a vineyard with gorgeous grounds. The hotel is first class with a fabulous interior and rooms. We were given a warm welcome by the owner who also spoke good English, he was obviously proud of his establishment. Our room was first rate and the restaurant was excellent. There is also plenty of car parking with many of the spaces under cover. Sadly we had only booked one nights stay, but if we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay for a few days and explore the region.

Cons:

There is nothing to not like, it is amazing.

Very enjoyable and a great way to finish our holiday before getting the ferry from Santandar
Pros:

Amazing building very traditionally Spanish. Staff were great. Elwin on receoption was exceptional. We loved the wine tasting with Carlos, they very kindly arranged this when we arrived. Hotel easy to find and parking good. Despite our negitive comments we would still recommend the hotel as we had a great time.

Cons:

The room needed attention. Room key way very difficult to use. Damp on wall from bathroom. When showering the whole bathroon get wet. Shutters would not open.

Le détour en vaux la peine !
Pros:

très bien , belle établissement , avec un personnel sympathique

Cons:

Entrecôte , (. un vieux morceau de viande immangeable ! rien a voir avec le nom ENTRECOTE !!! et un carré de porc en sauce presque avarié ! bref une honte pour cette établissement magnifique et un personnel très sympathique et compétant. qu'elle dommage , !!!!!! Bref éviter le restaurant
