Schlechtes Zimmer in einem sonst absolut empfehlenswerten Hotel

Angenehme Atmosphäre, liebevolle Details, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr leckeres Frühstück, tolle Lage am See...

Cons:

Das dunkle Einzelzimmer hatte den Charme einer Abstellkammer und befand sich direkt neben dem Aufzugsschacht.
Mir war klar, dass ich für Luzerner Verhältnisse ein günstiges Zimmer gebucht habe, allerdings hat Zimmer Nr. 39 meine Erwartungen weit unterboten.
Die Informationen beim Buchungsvorgang haben mich nicht erahnen lassen, was für ein schlechtes Zimmer ich gebucht habe.

A delightful small boutique hotel in a beautiful location
Pros:

Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff (mostly young women) were super friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the breakfast: Cappuccino, artisan cheeses and breads, homemade muesli (granola), and eggs en cocotte. We loved the location next to beautiful Lake Lucerne and enjoyed walking along the lake to the Old Town and train station. Our rooms had a terrace with a lake view which we didn't spend much time on because of the weather.

Cons:

As an artist, I didn't like the decor. While the old fashioned wallpaper is appropriate for this older building, the addition of contemporary nonobjective paintings and such color combinations as magenta with jungle green - YIKES!

A hidden gem.in Lucerne!
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing! Nice selection of food and the breads were amazing! The hotel was super clean and the staff were so heloful with suggestions!

Lovely, stylish old villa near the Lake
Pros:

The receptionist was very kind and also the service in the bar.

Cons:

The cleaning staff started to clean with the vacuum cleaner on Saturday morning, very loud(!!) at ca. 7:15 in the next door room. It was very annoying. They also pushed furniture around very loud.
