Grand Majestic Hotel

The hotel was clean and neat. Centrally located in downtown Kuwait City. View would be great if the windows were washed. Breakfast has everything you could ask for. I stayed 3 nights for business. Very reasonably priced! Overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend the Grand Majestic if you are on a budget. Four Seasons is around the corner if you are not. 😅

Although this hotel was neither grand nor majestic, it was a good place to stay and we were happy with the service and quality it provided. It is in an office (?? building and the hotel lobby is on the 17th floor, although you can check out from the ground floor. The lobby was lovely and every night we would enjoy the comfortable seating there with complimentary Arabic coffee and dates. Our room was not particularly big but had everything we needed, including a good shower and BBC on the tv. The view from our 25th floor room would have been amazing, had the windows not been so dirty. Nishima (?) the Sri Lankan breakfast staff, was very nice, as were the guys at security on the ground floor and the fellow who'd give us the coffee every evening. Their service was much appreciated. There is valet parking but we preferred to park ourselves given that we had a rental car. There is free parking behind and next to the hotel. Parking is very chaotic, as is driving and just about everything else in Kuwait. Although we enjoyed our stay, I think Kuwait has a long way to go before it can be considered to be be a major tourist destination for western tourists (however this is no reflection of Grand Majestic, which was a good and reasonably priced place to stay). If you do go, the Pakistani restaurant nearby the hotel is very good and inexpensive!

Very comfortable room, staff members were excellent and would offer assistance to any questions. The room was cleaned daily and the bed was very comfortable. Went to the restaurant and the food was very good. Check-in and check-out without problems. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Kuwait City.

Good location, quality breakfast, friendly staff, satisfying stay.

Bra område, 10-15 min promenad till Souk Al-Mubarakiya, 20 min till Assima Mall. Frukosten var ok. Finns ingen värme i ventilation men fick portabelt element som värmde bra. Dessvärre sipprade lukt in från korridor/andra rum av cigarettrök som var jobbigt. Dock endast i ett av de två rum jag hade bokat. Bra service.

Generally good hotel, just 5 minutes walk away from Kuwait City old town. Basic rooms but very clean. Wifi was also very good. Breakfast was good and varied.

The hotel is actually from the 17th floor upwards of a very large building.

I had one unpleasant incident when, after checking out on 17th floor, I went down to ground floor to get my taxi. The hotel person downstairs very arrogantly asked me whether I had checked out and refused to let me go out of the building before he checks that I really checked out !!!! The service by all the other staff at the hotel was good, so it was a big shame that this person acts in such a heavy handed and arrogant way.

I was very impressed the staff, and how wonderful and courteous they are. My room was immaculate clean with plenty of linens to accommodate my needs. And breakfast was wonderful with high quality buffet and American style breakfast.

Everything went good except the reservation you charged me twice

Overall our stay was fine but there were a few disappointing aspects. Prior to arrival I messaged to arrange an airport transfer but the hotel never replied when I asked them to book it & we had to make alternative arrangements. The room & bedding was comfortable but could do with some brighter lighting. Our room had an adjoining door & unfortunately this was not sound proofed in any way. Whilst trying to get some sleep prior to an evening flight the guest in the room next door was talking on the phone & typing. Everything could be heard as if he was in the same room! The
Caesar salad I ordered in the restaurant was nothing like the menu description & even when it was redone was not good. The waiter was very kind & arranged a fruit platter instead but it was a disappointing dining experience. The breakfast was excellent.
The staff were all very polite & the location is good for walking to the souk & shopping.

The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The room is nicely decorated and the size is well. The view is amazing with huge windows on two sides of the room. Everything needed is available in the room with full amenities. Mini fridge, kettle and free coffee, safe, slippers, shoe Polish and shoe horn, sewing kit and lots more. Bed sheets are very comfortable and soft. Bathroom was very clean. I was really impressed and happy with my stay and will definitely stay there again.

The location with a beautiful view of Kuwait, covers most of the city. Peaceful. Gentle and courteous staff put an extra bed in the room for our 10 year old son. Shower facilities were great. Good facilities. Buffer breakfast was a mix of continental and Arabic. Was very enjoyable. Karak tea was highly refreshing. After a stressful week this was a relaxing weekend at Grand Majestic Hotel.

The hotel was good, standard for a hotel of this kind.

About the restaurant:
Normally we don’t like these restaurants of the big hotels too much, but here we were surprised nicely. We got something although it was too late for lunch and too early for dinner, and they had several local dishes on the menu. We tried the chicken and lamb dishes and were happy with it.

I was upgraded to a high floor, with corner windows. The only problem was not being able to raise the temperature of the AC. I mentioned it at the desk. Someone came up, pressed buttons and I still woke up to 18 degrees.
Convenient, I walked home from the sook. Lovely staff.

Very helpful staff at the reception, specially the evening shift and at the lobby. Hadeem was super friendly and helpful to get me around, and addressed all the enquiries and requests I had.
Breakfast is excellent, but was very disappointed with the signature dish for dinner. It was not good at all, except for the king prawns.
The hotel is clean, comfortable and value for money if you skip eating in except for breakfast.

Fabulous hotel. One block from the main bus terminal. Very clean and spacious room. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! A few blocks walk from the mall.

Nice Stay. Staff was great and very helpful. Not a ton in the area to walk to but nice hotel overall

Loved it! Amazing staff - huge thanks to Waden who welcomed us and was available to answer any questions and to provide guidance.
Very good breakfast, with a lot options to choose from. Great views of some parts of the city.
Hotel is in good, quiet location, close to Souk and park. Took us on average 15min by car to visit other sides.
Room service was tasty and portions were huge.
