Paying Extra For the Room?
Pros:

Upon check in I was charged more money for the room I already booked and paid for. This was not a deposit. I was also unaware of a 500 baht deposit.

The biggest problem was being charged more for the room then was posted on Hotels.com and having to pay the extra before getting my room.

That was my biggest concern. Not being shown to the room, no plugs near the bed, and having to ask for water in the room were also problems.
