Hotel Real Alma

Very nice stay at this basic but clean hotel. Not in the city center but only three blocks away from Mercado Benito Juárez. Breakfast is very tasty and service is great!

Included secured parking and a delicious buffet breakfast on the beautiful terrace. They do not have an elevator, so prepare to climb 3 flights of stairs where the dining area is located. Great stay and service!

It was my first time staying at Hotel Real Alma, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best hotels in Oaxaca that includes breakfast. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and always ready to help, making my stay comfortable and pleasant.

One of the highlights was the beautiful view of Cerro del Fortín — waking up to that scenery each morning felt magical and added a unique charm to the experience.

The included breakfast was delicious, varied, and beautifully served — the perfect way to start a day of exploring Oaxaca. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.

I’ll definitely be coming back on my next visit to Oaxaca. I highly recommend Hotel Real Alma to any traveler looking for comfort, great service, and breathtaking views.

Good location, near the city center. Room/hotel was clean. The bed was very uncomfortable. Issues with getting hot water in the bathroom. Had only one shower with hot water.

The hotel is on a good location. The front desk people were not friendly. The breakfast is basic for the price we paid.

Everything was very good staff, location, price and facilities. The only thing is no elevators and some times there was a bad smell in the bathroom but had an esy fix over all very nice hotel highly recommended 👌

Hotel Real Alma was a great find for me. It was my first solo trip and I wanted to stay at a hotel that was close to the main center and everything, and hotel Alma was just that. It was about 20 mins to airport and it’s walking distance away to the square and every other place in centro. One of the other reasons I booked hotel Alma was the included breakfast, and let me tell you, the breakfast buffet every morning was so delicious with veg/non veg options. The dining staff were so nice and humble people and I just loved it. Hotel Alma itself is a beautiful small hotel, the rooftop is definitely the highlight of the hotel and that is where breakfast buffet is set up each morning as well. I highly recommend hotel Alma for anybody looking to book in centro area Oaxaca and I will def come back 💯

The location was in walking distance from everything. At night there are many options for yummy food with the street vendors. The breakfast in the morning has delicious options and the view from the terrace at any time of the day is beautiful. Would recommend and will return.

Nice place. Close to downtown. Only beef i have , you wait for hot water.5 minutes. Still no problem.

This place is excellent to visit Oaxaca, no complaints.
