Great location, excellent value
Pros:

As its name suggests, the hotel's theme are books which is very befitting its location in Tokyo's charming book district. Each room, floor, and the reception are decorated with books that guests are free to borrow and read. Most books are in Japanese, but there are a few in various European languages, too. The hotel is perfectly located, just steps away from entrance A1 to Jimbocho subway station, having access to three subway lines which makes the hotel very easy to reach from either airport. The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards (mine was 23 m²) and, as usual in Japan, fitted with amenities such as sandals and a night gown. The windows are well insulated, so that is quiet at night. While the hotel is accessible 24/7, the reception is not always staffed. When not, there is a way to pick up room keys and there are also storage boxes for luggage. The staff is friendly, although they speak very limited English. I found this hotel to be extremely good value, it is easily possible to pay more for a smaller and less central room. I will happily return.

It would be nice to fit the rooms with a Nespresso machine.

Pros:

Sehr nahe am Zentrum, zahlreiche Restaurants und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel.

Cons:

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, es gibt kaum Platz für das Gepäck. Die Mitarbeiter sprechen sehr schlecht Englisch, man muss alles selbst organisieren.

Interesting, clean and large room. The balcony was a bonus!

Cons:

It was a bit tricky to get to the hotel from Tokyo station. But once figured out, the hotel is very near to Jimbocho station.

Great boutique hotel for basic stay
Pros:

The hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. The location is great and right beside 4 exits of the train station! Good cafe and food options around. Nice boutique novelty experience being surrounded by books (few english) but the ambience was great!

Cons:

The aircon vent in the room was quite dirty and the cooling was not too good no matter the adjustment.
