MainStay Suites St Louis Airport

Breakfast over before 9am.
Loud music in the parking lot after 10pm.

Breakfast was only fair, only utensils were the cheapest plastic made. All sanitizer dispensers were empty. It’s really tricky to find the entrance if coming from the east. Even though there was a couch on one wall and the beds across from it, the tv didn’t swivel.

There was no shampoo in the bathroom upon arrival. There was a used towel still hanging behind the door and trash in the trashcan under the sink. When I went down to ask for 4 clean towels (since there was 4 of us) and shampoo I was informed they were short on towels.

Getting to the place was a bit of a pain because if you missed that instant turn off the highway there was no back way to get there you had to do it over again.

They offer military discount, but once booked, they cannot modify to offer the military discount. First time I've heard of that. Very disappointing. Breakfast was very average, with no variety from day-to-day. Once a particular item (i.e., yogurt, eggs, coffee, etc.) ran out, it wasn't replenished. Carpet and sofa in room was dirty.

Weed smell in the elevator

It smelled bad and the rooms were smelly and the sheets were dirty. They also charged me more than what I had booked for.

A bit old but what can you do. Breakfast could be improved too.

Checked into our room, immediately noticed the beds were DIRTY!! Sheets never changed, dirty comforter… The room next to ours had a lot of noise going on as they were checking in due to them finding roaches. Went to the front desk and they did send someone to change both beds on the room and bring us more towels because they only had 2 towels for a 4 person room. The head housekeeper was extremely nice and made sure that room was up to our expectations before leaving.
The entrance into the hotel is very inconvenient. You have to make sure to immediately turn into as you pull onto the road otherwise you have to drive a circle and come back to it.
The night staff (man) was disgusting and rude. Continued to loudly burp over and over and over as we sat in the lobby waiting for laundry to get done. He walked past us to go cook his food… burping
loudly… witnessed him ignoring the phone ringing while he played on his phone or took personal calls.. we counted 11 calls he ignored just while we were there. Ridiculous.

We do not plan to ever stay here again We have stayed at MainStay suites in other places and this was not up to standard.

Breakfast wasn't amazing but can't complain 😌 and there was only one way to get to it , but no big deal .

cleanliness. the room is smelly without strong air conditioning. The breakfast was so so, not so much to choose and the apple's skin are sticky, must be peeled off the skin before eating.
