Ritz Astor Hotel

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel! It's very clean, amazing location and the staff are amazing. Benny was very helpful to me and answered all my questions and he was very polite with the best customer service! I definitely will be coming back and staying at this hotel.

Fast service

When we were given our first room the unit is not yet prepared with the bed sheet and pillows..although we were moved to the lower floor it is still missing some basic like slippers, the towels were either grayed or super dirty already.

If you are into nightlight this is your place . Good price , nice simple room. Ac works well . HBO in English 👌

This property was decent at best. The temperature of the water in the shower fluctuates from hot to cold while in use. There is a club nearby so you will hear music late at night into the early morning. Also, I would recommend bringing roach and ant spray, because you will need it.

Close to most popular bars and restaurants, u can walk in the street any time in the nite becoz everything is open/ staff are so nice and try to help u anytime…. For first timer going to Manila this area and hotel is a best bet…

Ants in the room. They had to give us an ant spray to keep in the room just if we see more ants smh.
Noisy outside till 4AM if that's what you need every night.

Overall a very solid room. Other reviews are correct in saying it is dark. I quickly realized there is no light in the main bed area. This is easily remedied by simply turning in the big TV for illumination. All of the amenities I needed were present in the room. Cotton swabs, soap, towels, and AC/aircon.
The AC worked great for me, just make sure to properly adjust your levels and turn the dial to one of the 'cool' settings.
The bed was comfortable as we and room was clean. Hot water was there for the shower but did seem to get warmer or cooler randomly.
The main reason I stayed here was because it was within walking distance to a bunch of great restaurants and bars. This was true, but I didn't realize for that same reason it was also a red light district and I would be constantly harassed by prostitutes.
The downsides:
The wifi forced me to constantly log back in. Not sure why, but sometimes I had to enter the password multiple times in the same hour.
Also nearby clubs and traffic will make it fairly noisy until about 7 AM. (I stayed on a Saturday)
Also my sink faucet was haphazardly spraying and seemed to be missing the little filter screen.
Two of the lights in my room may have been wired weird. They appeared very dimly lit at night...

Excellent service and very polite staffs and helpful. The only thing that disappointed me is the noise from the clubs and bars surrounding the area.

Very close to the bars on Makati Avenue. It can be noisy until late. The rooms are comfortable enough, but are not as advertised. No bath robes in Superior rooms. The staff were very helpful , good front of house . 2100 pesos is enough for the ‘superior’. I’d stay again put in the standard room .

The Hotel is exceptionally well kept. Staff are friendly and when you need anything there is a prompt response.
It is close to the Cantina so I was worried about the noise but the windows have thick glass and their are two blinds. This blocked out the sound for me to sleep.

Unfriendly staff, and you literally dont sleep the entire night because of the doof doof (the clubs underneath), and the noisy drunk people.

It was comfortable and the room is spacious and clean. I expect less for the type of price but I am happy that it turned out great. Location is good to many restaurants and bars even Century City mall and Trump Tower bldg are just a walking distance. The only thing is the outside noise of cars but it’s understandable but for some may not so keep this in mind.

Two doors down from the loudest boom boom night club in Burgos st that goes all night until 5.30 am
Do not expect to sleep

I really enjoyed my stay here. Their staff is very attentive, very helpful and very friendly.

For same the price there are better hotels across the street that don’t have a terrible guest policy. The room was very small and had few amenities. Just note the pictures are a little deceiving. If you’re looking to hang out in this area for the nightlife I would suggest to stay someplace else. Best thing was the staff. They were friendly and helpful.

I like the location of the property. It is close to everything.

Support staff was great, especially the security guard at night (he was able to learn my name and greeted me each time which added a personal experience).
