The food was INCREDIBLE! I would go back just to eat here again. The hosts were lovely and very helpful.
It's close to the road, so it's a bit louder than I expected.
Private cabanas, big rooms, comfortable beds with good mosquito nets and a kettle. Incredibly lovely hosts, organised a safari for us and delicious dinner and breakfast. Would absolutely stay again!!

The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable. The yard is amazing and the owners extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. We absolutely recommend this place.

The hosts are very kind, they provided us with all the information we needed and even stay with us until the bus came to be sure that we take the right bus!! Thank you very much!!! The food at the cottage is gorgeous. Totally recommended to eat there also because the options to eat in Udawalawa are very limited. We went to the safari with Sandun, a guide that works with the cottage, and it was a really nice experience. He takes all the time you need to see the elephants. Thank you! We will come back!

The accommodation offered unbeatable value for money. Initially unsure about booking a safari, we were relieved that it wasn't mandatory. The family was exceptionally friendly. I admired the architectural style of the accommodation, and the room was very spacious. We had a cozy stay.
The accommodation lacks protection from insects due to its surroundings. We had dinner, and it seemed like we received leftovers from another group, as the food, apart from the rice, was cold.
Accommodation was comfortable and clean, and very beautiful, also the bathroom! Host was very nice and welcoming
