This is actually a review I didn't want to write at all, but I also need to inform those who might be coming: the hotel's location is very far from the main center and sightseeing, you can never swim in the sea, you pay 600 baht for taxis every day, the shared pools are neglected and dirty, these were problems you didn't experience, but the machine used at check-out was very bad. I'm someone who worked as a hotel manager in Turkey for 25 years, and in other places, the slippers placed in the room are either thrown away or not, which is not the case in our country, these slippers belong to the customer or they are thrown away. It should never be used for another customer; I would never consider that acceptable from a hygiene standpoint. Tea spilled on my slippers, and we threw them away, which is perfectly normal. During check-out, we were told there would be a 200 baht fine if we brought our slippers with us, and I was shocked, thinking, "Is this a joke?" The receptionist asked if we had ever been treated this way before, saying it was our first time here. We are single-users; we will put the slippers in our suitcases. To reassure you...

Goed hotel, maar de omgeving valt tegen.
Pros:

Mooie luxe kamer met keukentje. Goed sanitair met dubbele douche. Wij hadden lekkere stoeltjes op eigen terrasje met directe toegang tot klein zwembad en strand. Goede keuken: een keer goddelijke kippedij, maar ook een keer niet zo verse garnalen.

Cons:

Hotelrestaurant ligt onaantrekkelijk aan de andere kant van de weg. Wij konden wel in de leuke lobby eten. Hotel laat kansen onbenut om op het strand te lunchen of dineren.
Te weinig parasols en ligbedden op het strand. De aanwezige zitzakken zijn niet ieders ding.
Toeristen speedboten meren af voor het hotel. Geeft enerzijds reuring, maar zeewater daardoor minder vrij toegankelijk. Scherp afgebroken koraal op waterlijn en dieper. Waterschoentjes zijn onmisbaar.
In de directe omgeving weinig tot niets. Twee grote restaurants naast het hotel draaien op de boottoeristen, maar zijn onder de maat. Gelukkig wel een kleine 7-Eleven aan de overkant en lunchrestaurant Chez Juliette even verder op. Daar echt goed stokbrood en heerlijke chocolade taartjes.

Mooie kamer met mooi uitzicht. Wel overal een taxi voor nodig.

Mooie kamer (duplex) met top uitzicht.

Cons:

Iets te weinig strandbedjes en de beneden verdieping van de kamer stond te vol met te grote (overigens wel mooie) meubels.

Simply beautiful
Pros:

Breakfast was nice especially the Thi breakfast with fish the cleanliness and staff were excellent the little private beach was spotless and great to sunbath with all the bean bags and little tables

Memorable and thoroughly enjoyable first trip to Koh Samui
Pros:

First of all Thong Krut village is a perfect location. Small quiet place with multiple restaurants, cafes and departure point for tours to Madsum and Koh Tan islands. Plenty of attractions close by. You will need to rent a car though as it is quite a distance from main centres. The property was very comfortable with large tastefully decorated rooms overlooking the beach and the sea, good facilities and very helpful staff

Wer Ruhe im Paradies sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Wir würden immer wieder dorthin, gerade weil es abseits der Tourizen
Pros:

Die ruhige Lage des Hotels, die Zimmergröße. Bombastischer Ausblick aufs Meer! 7/11 und kleine Restaurants in direkter Nähe.

Cons:

Leider lagen die Touboote direkt am Hotelstrand.

We had a lovely stay here.
Pros:

Amazing room sea view ground floor. Super comfy bed and pillows. Great space kitchen tv double shower. Friendly staff. Lovely restaurant

Cons:

The only negative about our stay was we mislaid a keycard and got charged 1000 b there wasn’t any warning that this would happen and felt it was a lot of money for a card to be replaced , Even though in our next accommodation we found key and offered to return hoping for a refund was told it had already been replaced Very disappointing !!
