Beautiful hotel in the heart of modern Kyoto, the staff is incredibly helpful and polite, they really go above and beyond to meet your requests.
They run some lovely events in the lobby, we attended a Maiko performance as soon as we arrived, and on the third day I joined a calligraphy workshop which I loved deeply! Everything for free.
The room was very nice, with tatami underneath the bad. There was a lovely matcha set, with mugs and whisker so we could enjoy a freshly brewed matcha cup.
Around the hotel there's literally everything! From shops to restaurants, to kombini, to supermarkets.
Definitely a place I recommend!
The only thing was the size of the room, we had far too many suitcases for the space at our disposal and moving around had been a bit of a struggle.
The area is super busy, so if you're looking for a more residential and quiet location probably this is not for you.

La chambre un peu petite mais au Japon cela a un sens
tesis görsellerdeki gibi otantik bir yer değil, tesiste 2 kere 2-3 saatlik sıcak su kesintisi oldu, çay kahve ikram alanı çok çok küçük ve gerçekten çok kötü bir kahvesi var. Daha ucuza aynı konumda daha iyi oteller var.
Hele fijne sfeervolle accommodatie. Goed gelegen in gezellige bruisende buurt met veel restaurantjes en winkels. Personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik kom graag nog een keer terug!

The room was a little small however appreciate that’s common in Japan. Another light in the room would have been good as it was dark.
