Categories

Cleanliness
6.5
Rooms described as clean in multiple comments, though some guests found aspects (toilet) less to their taste; overall cleanliness is positive but not perfect.
Service
3.5
Multiple complaints about inconsistent and slow service: slow breakfast service, late delivery of items, staff miscommunication, and inconsistent pricing/quotations.
Location
7.5
Accessible location near municipal hall and main bus stop; beach is steps away, quiet and uncrowded — overall a strong location advantage.
Room Quality
5.5
Mixed: one review praises spacious rooms, strong AC, comfortable bed; another notes small room size and a toilet layout they disliked — average overall.
Amenities
6
Resort design, private kids' pool, lifeguard presence and nearby stores are positives, but limited in-room features (no bedside table, limited mirrors) reduce the score.
Value for Money
4
Several value concerns: high-priced small bottled water, relatively expensive/small breakfast portions, unexpected extra charges (rice), and inconsistent extension pricing.
Food and Beverage
5
Lunch dishes (sweet and sour fish, pancit canton, Bicol Express) were praised for portion and flavor; breakfast service and quality were criticized as slow, small and average.
Overall Experience
6
Overall stay described as 'good' and 'nice' with a very pleasant beach, but service inconsistencies, occasional beach jellyfish and limited activities tempered the experience.

The stay was good overall, but not exceptional in terms of service and dining.
Pros:

👍 What We Liked:
Accessible location – Just one tricycle ride from San Narciso municipal hall, which is also the main bus stop for trips to/from Iba, Zambales. Very convenient for commuters.

Peaceful beach – The biggest highlight. The beach is just a few seconds’ walk from the resort (across the coastal road). It’s uncrowded, quiet, and relaxing. We always had space to set up our mat and enjoy the view.

Safe beach area – There’s a nearby lifeguard post, which gave us peace of mind while swimming.

Resort design – Feels like a private pool resort in Metro Manila but with beach access. Clean and well-structured.

Spacious room – Enough space for our things, with good storage for clothes.

Strong air conditioning – No issues throughout our stay.

Comfortable bed – Big and soft, good for resting after beach activities.

Private pool (for kids) – Helpful for rinsing off after swimming in the sea.

Lunch food quality –
Sweet and sour fish – good portion and taste
Pancit canton (₱250) – large serving, good for up to 4 people

Bicol Express – flavorful and can actually serve 3–4 people

Nearby stores and resorts – Easy to buy essentials or explore other food options within walking distance

Cons:

What Could Be Improved:

Water availability – Only small bottled water (250ml) is sold at ₱40. No gallon or liter options. Guests should bring their own or buy outside.

Limited mirrors – Only one mirror inside the bathroom, which caused inconvenience when getting ready.

No bedside table – We had to use a chair as an alternative.

Slow breakfast service – Waiting time ranges from 20–40 minutes, but we experienced up to 1 hour when it was busy.

Menu availability issues – Some items (like beef tapa) became unavailable, and we were only informed late after waiting.

Breakfast quality – Portions are small, prices are relatively high (₱180–₱250), and taste is just average.

Inconsistent service –
Requested extra towels were not delivered
Had to follow up personally the next day

Staff miscommunication –
Some staff say different things (e.g., whether meals include rice)
We were charged extra rice (₱90) because it wasn’t clearly explained that fish fillet already came with rice

Inconsistent pricing –
Extension was quoted ₱2200 the night before
Then ₱2400 the next morning by a different staff

Order accuracy and coordination – Staff sometimes forget requests or fail to communicate details clearly

Pros:

The room's clean but too small.

Cons:

The beach was full of jellyfish at 6 PM, so you couldn't even swim anymore. The room was clean, but the toilet wasn't for me. It was a bit boring to stay there with no activities at all, which is why I checked out early and decided to move to another area and hotel.
