Pros:

You can’t beat the location.
You get a view of the lake or Mt Fuji.
The onsen is great.

Cons:

It is an old hotel. It needs an overhaul. The furniture and carpet need replacing badly.

Cons:

外国人ツアー客向けの、高値低サービスのホテルです。あなたが運動部の合宿用の宿泊会場を探しているのでなければこのホテルを予約してはいけない。（それでももっとコスパのいい宿があります。）

【接客】
チェックイン時に挨拶もなく事務的に取り扱われる。ビジネスホテルなら不満を感じないが、払っている金額に値する接客ではなかった。

【食事】
冷凍食品を中心にした低レベルなビュッフェ。具体的に言うとガスト（一食1,000円以下のチェーンレストラン）の少し下くらいのレベル。食事会場も混雑していて注文も通りずらい。（そもそも食事会場にスタッフが足りていない。）食事会場は受付のすぐ横に位置しており、受付から食べ物のにおいが漂ってきて不快。食事後に自分で食器とゴミを捨てさせられるのもこの値段のホテルでは初めての体験。マクドナルドですか？？

Had a great nights stay here with a gorgeous view of the mountain. Nice onsen and a great Japanese restaurant nearby.

また泊まりに行きたいです。
Pros:

山中湖が目の前に見えて、部屋も和室に低めのベッドで落ち着けました。
山中湖ハーフマラソンに出て後に泊まったのですが、チェックイン前に温泉にも入らせていただけたのが良かったです。

Cons:

部屋の窓の外の目に入る所に、蜘蛛の巣のようなゴミのような物が付いていたのと、レースのカーテンが薄汚れているように感じた点。
