Really nice place. The room was beautiful and clean. The host is also very friendly.

Classic , and a few steps away from the metro.

Overall I have mixed feelings about this hotel - it is a fine place, and I had a good stay! But I wish the listing description was more accurate to the experience. I would consider this a very clean, upscale, well-priced, and conveniently-located private room airbnb experience. The room itself was faultless, clean, and modern. But none of the advertised services were provided, like breakfast, room service (sheet changes), or private balconies. You check yourself in and handle services yourself.

Regardless, at the end of the day, I still had a pleasant stay at Miju House. The price was still fair for the quality of the room and location. And I would recommend it. Just needs to not be advertised as a 3 star hotel experience.

The good.
The location is quit good. Easy to get on the metro!

The bad.
The receptionist was rude, unfriendly and not willing to help with even small things. She just said talk to my manager and the manager said he would help, but never did and replied very late every time!

The house it self is old. I knew that. On the pictures it looks like an amazing design and renovation have been done!
The problem is that its really really bad made and its falling apart and the quality of the furnitures is poor and worn down.
The bathroom table with the sink on was literally breaking of the wall.

Every night we had some machine making a lot of noise, so we had to sleep with headphones on. And if the machine didn't make noise I could hear water dripping inside the walls! I'm wondering how much mould is in those walls and it its been safe to stay there.
And then there was the blinking light all night. It could not be turned of.

The water hose at the sink was about to fall off and the Toilet.... ohh the smell.......

Yes there is a shared kitchen not I don't think any ever cleaned.

We came back late one night, and the front door was wide open as and the receptionist was off duty. Every one could just go right in!

It felt very unsafe.

I have lived in china and traveled a lot in china and stayed in many cheap hotels - for your own good, just choose another hotel.

Nothing positive to say

There is no elevator so if you have a lot of staff I wouldn’t recommend this place as it is not convenient at all. Except this, other staff are still good and it is just 3mins walk to the line 7.

超過12點前台就沒有人了，需要幫助的時候有點無奈。除此之外，地點很好，房間也很乾淨，下次還會考慮住在這裡！

女性限定のお部屋に4泊しました。清潔で可愛いホテルです。写真ではわからなかったのですが、ベッドの脇にバスタブが埋まっています。一人でしたので問題ありませんでしたが、ベッドとシャワールームが離れていた方が良い場合は、シティスイートかデザインスタジオを選ぶと良いそうです。(聞いたら見せてくれました。脱衣所はありません。)水圧は弱いですが排水は
良し。扉が薄いので、他の部屋の出入りの音は聞こえます。フロントは住み込みの若い女性が1名、英語は通じませんが感じの良い親切な方です。深夜に鍵を忘れ困ったら、玄関の外ボタンを押せば起きてきてくれました！自由に使えるドラム式洗濯機が1台あり乾燥までできるので助かりました。2日目、冷え込んだ日には電気ヒーターを置いてくださいました。Googleマップでは通り沿いに表示されますが、食料品が売っているお店の脇の道を入ります。覗けば高い位置に看板が見えるのですぐわかります。駅は静安寺よりも昌平路が断然近いです。周りがアパートで、まるで上海に住んでいるような気分になれる、アットホームなホテルで気に入りました。すぐそばのタピオカ屋さんは150円ほど、その2軒隣には定食屋さんが200〜350円でお腹いっぱいです！中国語メニューしかないので、漢字を見て勘でいきました。ファミマもすぐ近くにあります。

Nice service.
Reception is open only about 10-12pm but still contactable through phone.

This place is more like a BnB than a hotel as it's converted from an old house. There are 3 storeys & NO elevator! I stayed at the 2nd floor Business Room (City View) for 5 nights. The words of city view is misleading. I got a view of neighbour's window frames. The building is right in the middle of an older neighbourhood. Taxi will drop you at the roadside as they are not allowed to get into the area, only residents are allowed. It is a bit noisy, if you are not the morning type.

Room service is really really limited although I stayed for 5 nights. They never changed the bed sheet, towels or even vacuumed the floor.

Anyway, the room is nicely designed, modern and comfortable. Good location to explore Jing An area. Short walk to metro (Line 7).

If daily housekeeping is what you believe to keep up on regular cleanliness of your room, or if you plan to have more than 2 days relaxing stay in Shanghai, this place might not meet your expectations.

The lady at the reception is friendly. But when I checked out & asked for her help to call a taxi for me to get to the airport, she told me that I could get a taxi from the roadside. Well, don't expect too much from this place if you are used to enjoying the hotel services like me.

始終都是家庭式經營，房的隔音會差些，周邊環境都清靜，房間內都整潔，光猛，舒適
