One Helena Road

really really good! i was so impressed with this place, loved it and would definitely return again. the only negative i have is being on the top floor and some of the glassware (mirror, table) could have been cleaner, however i know they were keen to get the studio ready for me potentially arriving early (which was so great of them to have accommodated this). when i arrived the entry system was modern and easy to use, clear instructions by text message and i had a courtesy call, to also leave me with a number as point of contact for any issues. the studio and room itself was fantastic! so much space, great facilities and a lovely shower room. perfect. the only negative i have is that the TV wasnt working, something to do with aeriel connection and it needed re-tuning (room 7)

Arrived. Convenient, quiet location for Canoe Lake. Parking bays not clear, had to go and re-park at an angle. Told no housekeeping, due to Covid (frequent stayer in Portsmouth, and all other accommodation is cleaning rooms locally). Room was No9, on top floor, very strong odours. Room, kitchen and bathroom were clean. Kitchen was equipped. Hot water bit slow in bathroom, but it is the top floor. No toilet roll in bathroom ! Bedroom Wardrobe was very flimsy. Can hear occupants in other rooms.

Lovely old victorian house but made into individual apartments. Apartments modern and very clean. We were out early and back late so not in very much but was just what we wanted. All covid regulations carried out very well. Will definitely use again.

Friendly staff on check in, simple process, very clean and well fitted out. We loved our stay.

A lovely little find to be able to keep myself to myself and not have to rely on takeaways etc, with the advantage of being right by the seafront. The kitchenette was clean and whilst a little limited, perfectly functional with a hob microwave and kettle.

Bed was comfortable enough, and for the money I have no complaints at all - I will certainly use them again next time I'm in Portsmouth.

We stayed here because we were having our bathroom refitted. It is local to us so we were able to watch the progress. The hotel had everything we needed and it was clean. Recommended

Everything is good, apart from the soundproof of the room, we can hear clearly people talking next room behind the wall.

Modern, clean and comfortable accommodation for our 2 night stay, could not fault it. Great location just 5 minutes walk to sea front and 5 to 10 minutes drive to the centre of Portsmouth/Gunwharf Quays and historic docks. Would highly recommend.

Spotlessly clean serviced apartment - spacious with comfortable bed, sofa & TV, & wetroom. There were adequate cooking facilities & enough crockery, cutlery & kitchen utensils for two.
We arrived at about 10.30pm & we're met by Dan who carried one of our bags up to our top floor room. He explained how things worked.
Tips for future guests:
- It is self catering so bring some food with you
- If, like us, you don't, we can thoroughly recommend brekky at the Canoe Park Cafe - v close by & gr8 food at v reasonable prices.
This is a good clean stay!
