Overall it is amazing experience. we are planning to come back
Pros:

The guest house is located inside the old authentic omani house.. It is absolutely wonderful experience, the staff is very friendly, the location is perfect, right inside the old fort. There is restaurant with terrance on the roof. The food is moderate but acceptable for such type of travel. We walked all old fort, souq and neighbourhoods. Highly recommended or thos ewho dont seek luxury but comfort and authentic experience.

Cons:

It is rather hard to order taxi, they will not call it out at the reception. If you are a smoker bring your cigarets with you as it is not available anywhere in the city. Better to come from November till end of March. The weather is getting very hot in the rest of the season, not welcoming to walk around day time
