MiCasa Suites - Stylish Condo in the Heart of Downtown

Our reservation was changed at the last minute, and this wasn't the unit or even the building that we had reserved. The bed was not very comfortable, and there was no reading light in the bedroom or top sheet on the bed. The unit was very sparsely furnished. Check-in and check-out procedures were not very clear, especially when given last minute info on the phone while driving in downtown Toronto looking for a parking lot.

Nice location - easy walk to downtown offices and restaurants and such. Safe - manned security desk and key fob entry to the building. The condo is a nice size and configuration for one or two people, the bed and bedding was very comfortable and nice. The place was very clean (but for some sticky something on the bed side table). Once we communicated on check-in/check-out, it was relatively easy (you go to a convenience store on the corner and there is a "key safe" kind of thing on the wall just inside the door. Communication on check-in was NOT good - they had me confused with another patron and dictated a time (4pm) to meet for key exchange that was not convenient for me, only to find out 10 minutes after I got there about the confusion and that I had a self-check in that I could have done at any time. No apology was offered. Condo would benefit from some minor upgrades: There were multiple remotes for the TV/cable box (and no instructions) that took some time to figure out. The kitchen boasts ONLY the basics in terms of tools and pots/pans, etc. The towels are very small, but there are plenty of them. There were no kleenex. The shower curtain was dark brown and not hanging on all hoops, so it was very dark in the shower and kind of breezy. The hairdryer sucks

It had NOT been cleaned when we arrived and we had to get them to clean it. In fact is was very dirty on arrival which was very off-putting. It is NOT stylish at all. They only give you one key which was awkward as the 2 of us had different things were doing. The bathroom was old and very small. The kitchen had barely what we needed. The bed fills the bedroom so sleeping on the far side meant it was awkward to get past the bed to get out. Its location is good for theatre etc.I think you would do better at the Hilton Garden Inn or the Residence by Marriott both 1-2 blocks away unless you really want to cook for yourselves. There are nearby food stores for shopping which is good too.

Instructions were super easy to follow, and the place was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was right by all the things we wanted to check out! The bed was comfortable, and the soak tub was amazing- not something you typically get at this price.

We were snowed in and needed to stay an additional day and he was quick to respond with another place to stay. Helped us get into the new building and made sure we were settled.

We will definitely be using micasa suites again if we're in downtown Toronto.

Worst I ever had

Unit advertised as 1 bedroom with pull-out. Mattress for pull out lying on floor in a spare room. Towels and sheets still in dryer. Old toilet paper rolls under sink in bathroom. Shower curtain was torn. Empty beer can with cigarette butts left on balcony. All little things however all detracted from the overall experience. Parking was not included and cost additional. I’ve stayed at other units in this neighbourhood with more favourable results.

I highly recommend this property. It is close to everything and a very nice unit.

Great location close to SkyDome, good for single person /couple (but I wouldn't want to sleep on the sofa); check-in/out was smooth *aftrer* a phone call or two (no front desk). In general I was happy with the deal.

Condo confortable , à proximité de tout. Dommage pour la qualité des serviettes et draps, propre mais taché..la qualité de l entretien ménager laisse à désirer. La baignoire étais bloqué donc on a pris une douche les pieds dans l eau , très désagréable ...

Easy communication with the owner of the condo. Spacious and clean rooms.

Great location if you are sports fan. Rogers Centre is steps away. This was first time renting a condo. We found it was nice and quiet. We rented a condo instead of a hotel room, with the idea of cooking some meals but not a lot available in the kitchen for cooking: 1 small frying pan, 2 pots. Coffee maker was hotel size i.e. two cups at a time. Fridge and stove were excellent size. Management was readily available via text if any question arose i.e. no dishwasher tablets in stock so we had to hand wash dishes instead of use the dishwasher. Description of parking as being "on site" is misleading. There is no parking available at the condo for guests. There is a private lot next door, from where you have to lug your belongings over to the condo which would be a hassle if it was a rainy or snowy. The parking cost is outrageous due to the sports events in the area. Overall a good experience despite the few surprises, but not sure if we would rent it again now that we know how things are arranged.

Excellent centrally located downtown condo. Very clean and spacious. Great for anyone visiting the city for a concert, sporting event etc. Close proximity to many restaurants, transit and nightlife. Highly recommended!

Beautiful condo with an uncomfortable bed. It’s really close to the CN Tower and subway lines so you can travel quickly even in rush hour

Fine. Just slept there. Quiet and close to fowntown
