Pros:

A great hotel to stay at in Baku. Unbelievable amenities like a full gym swimming pool, commercial gym like weightlifting equipment. Rooms were very clean. Restaurant was nice with lots of menu options and open late. Very strong wifi. Staff was incredibly helpful and supportive of any of your needs.

The only downside is the taxi service to go to and from the hotel would only take local cash, no credit cards. But Hotel staff actually would help in transfer money if needed. The area around the hotel has a nice market and some other shops but generally it looks to be a quite poor area with some crumbling infrastructure and straight animals wandering around. Overall I would recommend this hotel in Baku.

Pros:

With one exception the staff spoke no language other than Azerbaijani. I mean none. Not hello or yes or anything. It made ordering dinner a challenge... but the food was great once you managed.

Pros:

The hotel was clean, safe, and the staff, despite language challenges, was attentive and interested in ensuring a strong customer experience. It is not in Baku itself, but in a suburban community about 30-40 mins from the city, but a very good and appreciated option.
