WYNDHAM WENZHOU

Excellent hotel, excellent service. Two possible improvements: offer strictly no smoking rooms; add one-two English TV channels.

The location is not ideal, far from most restaurants. The nearest thing is a shopping called “WANDA”about 10 minutes by car. At the moment of my stay (October 2021) the gym was being remodeled, the road was being fixed and seemingly other hotel facilities as well. The staff were friendly. The complain I have is low pressure on the shower. Also room seems little old, not par with the reception hall.

A nice hotel, located just 10 minutes away from the airport and 15 minutes away from major industrial area of Longwan. We stayed not in the main building, but in the one inside the yard. Rooms are spacious, but a bit old. WiFi was slow, breakfast is acceptable, but mostly Chinese food is available. Price/location wise it's a 4/5, otherwise a 3/5...

Hotel is nice. Fairly clean.
Food however is inedible, and not suited at all to Westeners. Unfortunately no-one speaks any English either which makes it even harder. We came to Wenzhou on business and was recommended this hotel, but we won’t be back.
Wouldn’t recommend unless you are Chinese or speak Chinese.

Chinese standard luxury hotel. Heavy interior but in general decent rooms. Air conditioning in my room was very very weak making sleeping difficult. Uninspiring hotel surroundings and neighborhood. I can’t find any other reasons to stay here unless you want to be close to Wenzhou airport which is just few minutes away.

This hotel is the back alley hotel of the Binhai Grand Hotel shown on their website to be a magnificent place. My taxi driver dropped me off at the Binhai Grand Hotel thinking I was staying there, but I was in the wrong place as they have 2 buildings. So they had an open air shuttle drive me to this dismal back alley hotel. It was a disappointment called the Yingbin Building at 4567 Yongqiang Avenue. I booked because it's 10 minutes from the airport, and I had an early flight out, but then I was told 6 AM Saturday morning they don't have taxi service because it's toooo early! Near insanity, I almost cried in the lobby then they found me a limo driver who would come. NOT one word of English by the staff, but I had an electronic translator. Room didn't have heat, so they sent 2 electricians with a ladder and a hotel maid to my room who eventually realized none of the rooms on the floor had heat. This was 45 minutes later with them opening the ceiling for repair. It was 17 degrees Celsius in the room. Finally, they put me into a room with heat which was a suite with a fresh fruit tray. A 500 rmb deposit is required. Hopefully, I'll get that refunded to my Chinese credit card later. No restaurants anywhere on site. Everyone was nice, but it took patience on my part. Smoking is allowed in the rooms with ashtrays available, but I didn't smell smoke. Hot water in the shower and bedroom slippers with robe. Suite had a king size bed with magnificent pillow top mattress, large screen TV and sofa.

We traveled from south Africa and this was our first trip to China. We did not know what to expect from the country as well as the hotel. We were pleasently surprised at what we got for the price. The rooms were spacious clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was the surprise as they had some interesting items on the menu. If I may suggest that you stick to an omelet and toast if you are not adventures. Dinner was also a challenge with pig snout and chicken feet on the menu as well as a host of other special delicacies one being duck tongue. Very limited English spoken so one has to be patient. If you are good at charades and pictionary then you should do fine.

Staff is kindly and learning English. the room was very clean and quiet.
breakfast is good and have European food and Asian food. location is near than air port. bathroom is very clean.
i will stay at this hotel more than one!

Hotel is Good for Stay. Price worthy ,rooms are big, the bed is comfortable, washroom is clean and tidy. Do Not expect more English friendly staff and western food as common problem of Chinese hotels. If you love Chinese food then hotel restaurant will not disappoint you. Overall it was as per expectation positive.

I don't like this hotel. The rooms are comfortable but it's the only thing. The restaurant closes too early, the service room takes too much to bake 2 sandwiches, the personnel is very rude, the rooms don't get cleaned every day. No one did my bed for two days, the floor wasn't vacuumed for the entire stay. But it's the only hotel nearby the airport and industrial zone, so no much to do about it.

The rooms were ok - But that was about it to be fair. And of an evening (say 10pm) everything is closed! I think they do cater for the KTV next door. We found the breakfast a complete shambles. I'd stay somewhere else if you are from the west.

A hotel with big rooms and a very good bathroom , room service also quite good,
Restaurant on second floor has good Chinese food.
A bit offside from the town centre and no restaurants or pub nearby.
Not everyone speaks English and sometimes difficult to get money from ATM near by.

It´s an OK and affordable price hotel if you are in a business trip in Wenzhou. The rooms are big, the bed is comfortable and also you can open the window a little bit, so you can get straight air from outside.
Around the hotel there is nothing to do, unless you are Chinese citizen (with lots of money) or you are invited by Chinese people, as there is many high class dancing clubs and KTV´s, what is of course night enterteiment.... if you do not enjoy night life, get ready to improve your Chinese language watching TV, because there is only Chinese channels.
The Wifi connection in the rooms is slow and cuts off very often. Hotel really must to improve this.
Breakfast with very little (and poor) Western selection.

The rooms are very well designed, beautiful finishes, great bathrooms (I stayed in the back building) and all very well maintained. The bedding and pillows are fantastic!!!

The problem is their wifi, the hotel website says all rooms have it. But thats only in the front building. They brought me a wifi device for my room, still couldnt connect. There were 3-4 "binhai xxxx' connections - but their technical service over the phone told me that only "binhai hotel" would work.

So I checked out of the back building in the morning went to the front bulding lobby - and was told to connect to the "binhai dtr" location - and yes I needed a code number - so they gave it to me. I could have done this from the back building!!

I speak chinese - so that wasnt the problem. But with so many people taking only wifi devices now, they should pay attention to this.
