hotel doet zijn naam eer aan, is romantisch

prachtige, ruime kamer. ingericht met oog voor detail.
zitje op balkon naast de kamer.
prettige ontvangst, prima ontbijt

Cons:

entre is een beetje rommelig, receptie klein. personeel is niet direct alszodanig herkenbaar, draagt geen bedrijfskleding of badge.
wat geur overlast van restaurant beneden en tegenover.
gordijnen op de kamer sloten slecht, wat vervelend was omdat er verlichting aan de buitenkant van het raam was gemonteerd

Value for money and romantic
Pros:

The room was very romantic and well furbished with a very big bathroom. Furthermore there was a nice restaurant also for puplic in the ground floor. The hotel is located in the centre of the Trier city close in the beginning of the pedestrianised street and shopping area including eating, drinking places and tourist site seeing's

De locatie is geweldig.
De sfeer in de kamer is goed, en de materialen zijn van goede kwaliteit.
Ruime badkamer.

Cons:

Klantonvriendelijk inchecken via een kleine tablet met veel pagina's. Ik ben halverwege gestopt en het was akkoord. Überhaupt ongemakkelijke ontvangst door iemand die matig Duits sprak. Hij bood ons een glas sekt als welkomstdrank aan; op zich is dat aardig maar ik zei dat we geen alcohol drinken. Hij zette het toch voor ons neer en bracht de vier glazen zelfs onze kamers binnen. Ik vroeg hem toen om het te verwijderen. Het was heel vreemd. Hij had een alternatief kunnen aanbieden.
De kamer zag er mooi uit, maar is heel klein. Er is geen plaats voor koffers. Er is geen koffie/thee-faciliteit, zelfs geen koelkastje.
Het matras was goed, maar het bed had zeer slappe kussens, dus ik heb toch niet goed geslapen.
Telkens als je in de badkamer het licht aandoet, gaat er ook een radio aan (van slechte kwaliteit).
En er is geen thermostaatkraan in de douche, dus het is elke dag gehannes om een goede temperatuur te vinden.
Het ontbijt is uitgebreid maar wordt niet goed aangevuld. De bestelde spiegeleieren waren nog half rauw, meerdere dagen achtereen.
Samenvattend: de uitbater matigt zich aan om een erg hoge kamerprijs te vragen, maar kan niet de bijbehorende topservice bieden. Het kwaliteitsniveau hoort bij een middenklasse hotel. Het gevoel dat nu achterblijft is dat ik me bestolen voel.

Pros:

Der freundliche Empfang, schneller Check in, Freundlichkeit des Personals. Obstkorb und Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Im Zimmer wurde, wegen der Hitze, eine mobile Klimaanlage aufgestellt. Das Frühstücksbüffet war umfangreich und von guter Qualität. Das Essen im Restaurant war auf den Punkt gebraten und ausgezeichnet.

Beautiful appointed Room with a view
Pros:

The location and the decor of the beautiful room with view to the cathedral. The staff were exceptional. Lots of attention to detail and our needs. We appreciate it.

Gorgeous comfortable boutique hotel
Pros:

Beautiful. Comfortable room with adjoining patio/ courtyard. The A/C provided a respite from the hot weather. Lovely breakfast buffet. Walking was easy in the Old Town.

Mooi hotel perfect gelegen in hartje Trier
Pros:

Onthaal met glaasje bubbels is leuke binnenkomer. De kamer heel mooie en ruime met grote cleane badkamer. We hebben heerlijk geslapen, de kamer is zeer rustig en stil, toch midden in het centrum. Elke dag een nieuwe fles water op de kamer, met ook een bordje fruit.

Cons:

Hoewel het ontbijt heel uitgebreid en verzorgd was, zaten er iets te veel vliegen. Tafels werden maar traag afgeruimd en koffie te traag aangevuld.
