This place is a bit raunchy
Pros:

The price was pretty decent. The ac works very well even with Texas heat.

Cons:

The property generally feels unsafe. The exterior door on the side of the building looks like it used to require a key card but is now broken so just opens. It smelled of marijuana while we were there. If you have children I would look elsewhere. I felt uncomfortable exiting my room at night.

Cons:

It wasn't as clean as it could be.
The toilet seat was broken and peeling.
No ice machine on the second floor.
The lobby smelt like pot.
It seemed like there were drug dealings going on.
Cars would pull up, people from inside the hotel would get in the car for a little bit then get out.
The car was parked under the awning of the front entrance and was there for like an hour.
There is another hotel next door and people would come out of one hotel and walk to the other one.
A group of people was at one end of the hotel parking lot with lawn chairs and beer.
A couple of guys got into an argument.
Me and my friend checked in at around 1pm and didn't feel safe, so we checked out around 9pm the same day. We will never stay there again.
