A kettle would be nice
Pros:

Setting at the far north of the old city meant a 15 minute walk to the Rathaus and main sites but suited me. Plenty of history to explore (reformation history at St Anna, Fuggerai, etc Quiet street. Good breakfast for €9. Pleasant staff.

Cons:

Room on the smaller side of large. One well-upholstered upright chair and a desk so narrow it would better be termed a shelf. Unlined bedroom curtains and glass door to shower/toilet meant no effective blackout, so bring a mask if you don't want to wake with the light. There's a line somewhere across central Germany below which not having a kettle in a room is deemed acceptable. Unfortunately, it seems that Augsburg is south of that line. What do they not understand about the English on holiday?

Früher Check-in & Organisation des Taxis haben meinen Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht
Pros:

Ich konnte das Zimmer bereits vor der eigentlichen Check-in-Zeit beziehen, was ich wirklich sehr geschätzt habe. Das war so nicht vereinbart und sicherlich nicht selbstverständlich – vielen Dank dafür!

Außerdem möchte ich mich für die Organisation des Taxis bedanken. Auch das hat hervorragend funktioniert und war eine große Hilfe.

Ci vorrebbe un hotel Fischertor in tutte le città
Pros:

Il PROPIETARIO persona squisita e accogliente .
La camera che ci ha assegnato bellissima all ultimo piano con vista su augusta .
Struttura ristrutturata molto bene senza modificare l ambiente tipico che la caratterizza .
Bagno in stanza bellissimo con doccia enorme .
Perfettamente pulito .
Letti comodi e ben fatti .
Ottima anche la colazione .staff preparato e accogliente per qualsiasi esigenza .
