Element by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Downtown

The young man Rafi was exceptional. He made our stay the best. The room was clean and the pool was amazing.

The young man Rafi was amazing help at the front desk. He went over and beyond. The room was also super clean and bed was really comfortable. We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast as well. The location couldn’t be close to all the activities.

I want to say thank you to Rafi G. for his hospitality and kindness during my stay. He was such a fun and positive person to interact with.

We stayed here after flying in late and on the way to Miami for a cruise. Last year we stayed in the other half, The Dalmar. This hotel was a good budget hotel, check in was easy, beds were comfortable, and it was clean. Breakfast was decent as well and love the location. I would prefer The Dalmar side over this one but we had a good stay! Love the coffee shop downstairs!

Rafi was a phenomenal host, checking us into our hotel room. Very personable, easy to understand, gave us all the details on the hotel and security and overall enhanced our experience significantly. Definitely recommend and encourage the company to hire more people like him!

What an amazing experience it was from start to finish. Upon walking in the door, Rafi made sure we felt welcomed and knew about all the amenities and features. He was hilarious, kind, and hospitable. All things hard to come by nowadays in the hospitality industry. Thank you for being you!

What a gem of a hotel! Picked this place by chance as a quick one night stay before we went on a cruise. Rafi G met us at the front desk. His energy is everything!! He got us all checked in and explained all of the generous property amenities. This hotel has many options for drinks and food. There are also a wide variety of other restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Element/Delmar on N. Federal Highway and had an outstanding experience. Everyone at the hotel was accommodating, helpful, and professional throughout our stay.
One individual who truly stood out was Rafi. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to helping us in every way possible. Whether it was providing referrals, recommendations, or helpful suggestions, he always did so with a pleasant attitude and positive energy.
Rafi's wonderful personality and exceptional customer service made our stay even more enjoyable. He is a tremendous asset to the hotel, and we appreciated everything he did for us. Thank you, Rafi, for making our visit so memorable.

After our long flight from Vancouver Canada we arrived at the hotel hours before checkin but the kind staff gave us a room right away, that was much appreciated. Then we were told we were just in time for the free breakfast bar and it was delicious. & with so many options. We were also invited to a welcome champagne hour and then an afternoon Happy Hour with free drinks and food. Plus a free gelato cart later in the day. We were also each given a card for a free cocktail at the bar. We had dinner at the roof bar & restaurant, it was wonderful! The food, and the view. Our room was just as pictured online, very comfortable & with a full kitchen. But what struck us the most was the warm and friendly staff. Each one that we had contact with were so attentive to anything we asked about or needed, and I dare say that they were as attentive and made us feel as welcome as any of the staff on any of our sailings aboard Holland America ships. High praise from us. We have highly recommended your hotel to our friends and those going to sail in the future from this port and are offered the Fort Lauderdale Element as a Holland America Hotel option to book. Thank you to each of the staff for giving us such a wonderful start to our cruise vacation!

Rafi was amazing, best service ever!

We stayed at Element in Ft. Lauderdale prior to our Disney cruise. It was perfect from the start. There’s a lovely group of gentlemen at the door to help get bags to the lobby for check in and then to the room (G/Jean? was great!). At check in, Ravi was fantastic. He was so kind and we were very lucky to get an earlier check in than expected. He gave us all the details we needed to know about the hotel and our stay (to include the complimentary cookies and champagne hour!). The room was the perfect size for our family of 4 and the shower was huge. We checked out the salt water pool and the temperature was perfect! Highly recommend Element for future stays!

Checking in to Element and meeting Rafi G was 5 stars! He was welcoming, hilarious and friendly. As longtime Bonvoy members, I belief Rafi is by far the best front desk employee we’ve come across throughout our travels. We got an upgrade which was very nice!

The stay at Element was nice, it connects with The Dalmar so the facilities are shared. The breakfast was ok, would’ve liked something different every other day but unfortunately that was not the case. The staff in the breakfast area of Element were very friendly.

During our stay one of the main restaurants was undergoing some kind of renovation which meant the availability of options was limited.

The restaurant at the Dalmar Lobby was ok, I would say a bit understaffed if there are many people. The main server did his best but the first time there he came over a bit brusk and wasn’t very attentive. The next 2 times we ate there he was more attentive. The food itself was good. The chicken left a bit to be desired but the burger was good and the filet mignon too. The flatbread was more like a pizza than actual flatbread. The cheesecake by far was the best item on the menu. It was delicious.

The bar/restaurant on the 25th floor was meh. We went there thinking it had dinner but in reality these were small bites but we couldn’t even stay for that since the music was way too loud. Don’t get me wrong, i love music but the space is just too small to have a DJ playing that loud. You couldn’t even talk. My apple watch started giving me signals that the decibels were too high. It was actually ridiculous how loud it was without taking the space into consideration. It was super unpleasant and we left without ordering anything.

Loved the elevator system, seriously.

The location of Element was really good. You could walk or take an uber. We mostly took an uber since it was too hot and humid for long walks or it was pouring rain.

All in all a good experience.

Great hotel with great staff. Alejandro and Kelsey were amazing. Extremely helpful and empathetic. They made my night with their great customer service.

Big thank you to Rafi for helping us out during our honeymoon stay! We were put in the wrong room the first night and were told there weren’t any balcony rooms available, but Rafi really went out of his way to help us get the room we originally booked. We seriously appreciated all his help and kindness. He made the experience so much better for us!
