It was a nice hotel.
Not all staff members were friendly or welcoming. I was approached by a female worker on the first floor on my second night's stay, and she stopped my daughter and I from going on the elevator to ask what floor we were going to. I told her the 9th floor, and this is our second night staying, and we have a key. It was not a problem in asking. I was just uncomfortable because there were other guest walking through the lobby, and she did not stop them. The valet guys were friendlier.

Let me start off by saying I’m a brand loyalist and know the standard. We recently stay here. I have platinum status and was offered a higher floor but all the other perks were useless because everyone gets breakfast. The location is convenient yet off the beaten path. They offer a shuttle to the beach but runs at inconvenient times. I don’t recommend this location if you want to stay at the beach. The hotel was very modern and well built. The rooms are small but have an efficient use of the space. A nice touch was the cool towels and cold cucumber water at the entrance. The valet team was always helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a non luxury basic and clean accommodation with no frills, I recommend staying here depending on the price.
The staff were friendly and outstanding
Brittany server is fantastic. Took great care of us, very attentive and lots of personality. Much more comfortable than the roof. Relaxing atmosphere after a long work day. Would definitely come back. Brittany went out of her way to make sure we different have to wait.
My partner and I had indeed an amazing stay at the Element/Dalmar hotel and were very impressed by the amenities and services at the property. Honestly, I used to be very hesitant to book a hotel with destination fees, but I have to say Element/Dalmar have changed my view on that, as we were so well pampered by the services and amenities included such as the frequent beach shuttle, beach chairs, umbrella at the Ritz Carlton beach front, not to mention the towels and chilled water prepared for the guests at the beach are among many things we appreciate.
we booked the Canal studio which was very spacious which a massive bathroom and nice view and balcony.
Renatalia at the reception has been so patient with me whenever I have questions or in need of scheduling the shuttle to the beach. She also generously offered my cookie-monster partner cookies as she noticed he was searching for the cookies at the check-in counter. We also very much enjoyed the Lounge Bar on the 6th floor multiple times and spent much longer time than we expected to sip our drink on the comfortable couch while having our conversations in the relaxing atmosphere.
When we come back to Fort Lauderdale again, we definitely would like to stay there again, maybe on the Dalmar floors for a change.

We recently hosted a multi-day leadership conference at this resort, and while the property itself provided a beautiful setting, it was the people who made the experience truly memorable. Catherine and Brittany, in particular, stood out. Over two different evenings, they brought not just excellent service, but genuine warmth, professionalism, and connection to our group.
Their ability to balance attentiveness with authenticity made everyone feel welcomed and seen. In a large group, it’s easy for service to feel transactional—but Catherine and Brittany elevated it into something personal. They made it feel like we were regulars, like we belonged.
