Stunning staycation mostly impeccable service
Pros:

My husband and I recently enjoyed a one night staycation at the W Brisbane, and overall, it is definitely one of our favorite places to stay in the city.
The service from the moment we arrived was truly exceptional, easily going above and beyond what we’ve experienced at other five star hotels. The staff at the door are incredibly attentive, even opening and closing car doors for you. We were also lucky enough to be offered an early check in before 3pm, which was a great start to our stay.
The rooms themselves are stunning: spacious, well appointed, and spotlessly clean. We also found the mini bar to be well stocked and quite reasonably priced, and we definitely indulged in a few treats throughout the evening.

Cons:

However, the Wet Deck was the only part of the hotel we could fault. While the staff working there were lovely, the overall presentation was disappointing. It felt quite messy during our visit, with staff wearing stained, dirty uniforms and clutter, like crates of stock and milk cartons, visible in the area. We also had issues with the quality of our drinks, as the tonic water was flat both times. To the credit of the team, the staff were very accommodating and didn't charge us for the drinks, which was appreciated.

Beautifully well appointed funky space with the best city views.
Pros:

The staff were wonderful and accomodating, the hotel was well situated and I had a beautiful view from my room.

Cons:

The room smelled a little strange and musty when I first walked in and for a few hours. This seemed to dissipate over time.

Friendly customer service at the reception and rooms were kept clean and tidy for guest to relax.
Pros:

The side couch and controller lighting in-room settings.

Cons:

Having to pay extra fees to access the under cover carpark. There should be some sort of discounted guest parking rates.

A 3pm check is also too late. A time between 12noon - 2pm is much more convenient.

Magic round, magic stay
Pros:

Location - easy access to everything. So central and walkable to most things. Approx 20mins to the airport at morning peak hour traffic too.
Staff - always available and willing to check in and ask if anything else was needed. Only a call away. Nothing was a problem - even surprising us with a small treat on arrival
Facilities - clean, cared for and modern. Spacious room and an amazing view of the river. Away spa well worth the money and free use of the mineral pools, steam room and sauna. pPlenty of food options available on site or nearby
