Poor
Pros:

Location

Cons:

I had booked a twin room for me and my son , on arrival it was a double bed I went to reception to explain I’d booked a twin and would like twin room , not much help just kept saying you didn’t book a twin I have nothing on the system ?
Ok fine if your not willing to move us ,when I was about to leave reception she said we can changed the beds now for us , I just said can’t be arsed with the agg now not helpful, breakfast the room was hot and had flys kept landing on our table , went to order breakfast then got told there are no sausages available so had extra bacon but poor really for £122 for the night.

Pros:

The young guy on reception was very welcoming and informative. He explained that the bulls head was closed for renavation and advised us of a couple of eateries local to have a evening meal. The room was very clean and had everything needed for an overnight stay. The heating made the room nice and toasty. Only about 10 mins drive from Manchester airport. Would definately recommend this lovely hotel.

Cons:

Nothing really but it would have been nice for the pub to be open
We wasnt made aware of this until we arrived at the property.

Pros:

Very comfortable

Cons:

Due to the temporary closure of the pub, this meant we only had a choice of a continental breakfast. This would have been acceptable if the price reflected this choice.

Enjoyable overall, good value for money
Pros:

Room, warm comfortable and nicely designed, bathroom too, although I wish all hotel showers were a universal design with written instructions. Enjoyed eating dinner in the pub, nice busy atmosphere (Fish and chips were gorgeous) Pity it was mid winter as beer garden/restaurant outside looked very inviting.

Cons:

Trivial I know but at breakfast asked if it was possible to have thin milky porridge. certainly was the reply, what I got you could stand a spoon up in the middle and it would stay upright, second day same request, mentioned previous failure, got exactly the same 3rd day same, gave up

Building disruption flawed a convenient stay
Pros:

We have stayed before and found it to be a convenient location with parking and electrical charging.

Cons:

It was undergoing a major refurbishment with building works going on both inside and outside. This reflected the score as the facilities were limited due to the Pub being closed, so no meals were available only a limited continental breakfast availability. Our room also backed onto the building works and there was a constant security light on all night.
