For a basic hotel they do everything right. A friendly welcome, basic but clean rooms, the toilet and shower was better and cleaner than other more expensive hotels we have stayed in.
Easy walking distance to all the sights, the restaurant area and the beach.

Right in the heart of the town. Close to everything. At the end of a street so pretty quiet (for India!). Bathroom quite new. Staff were helpful and accommodating to our requests.
Basic room which is fine but limited natural light making it feel like a bit of a cell. The walls desperately need painting - covered in old marks, scuffs and stains. Bathroom drains are pretty smelly (common problem in smaller towns) so we used incense to cover up the smell. No food on site. It's close to the beach but it might just be the saddest, most polluted beach we've ever seen - scores of dead turtles and all sorts of discarded fish rotting away was a harrowing sight.

The hotel is located on the quiet end of a street , near the ocean, near the shore temple, near the main street and busstation.
It is equipped to a high standard considering they call themself hotel without frills. Everything was in working order, the bed very comfy, always hot water and the staff and communication were exceptionally good. And I loved simple but clean and crisp decor and lighting. The owner Yuvaneck told us about their awareness of sustainability and efforts towards re-use/ re-purposing and up-cycling within the hotel. Which is great to know and support. A kitchen was available to use for guests and there was access to refill your bottle with purified water for free.
We did look around for accommodation and found this by far the best place.
Their isn’t much of a view as they are perched in between other guest houses . But with wide corridors they made the most of the space available.

The room was very small.
Staff is very helpful and friendly, room is small but clean, has A/C. Location is perfect - walk to all the places, plenty of restaurants in the street.
If you return late, the property is locked, we were not warned about that - but knocked on the door and it was opened. So it is fine.
