Breakfast was not the best, the smallest home made potato scone l have ever seen in a Scottish hotel, and a bit disorganised. Beds were clean and comfortable but the furnishings and decor need more attention to detail. Seemed a bit understaffed.

We booked an overnight at this hotel for a reasonable price which included breakfast. On arrival staff were very friendly and showed us around as we hadn't visited before. Had a drink in the lovely beer garden. We were offered the chance to book an evening meal. We already had plans but the food we saw being served looked lovely. Breakfast was fantastic. Continental available and choice of hot food. We had full Scottish and scrambled egg I had with mine was best I'd ever tasted. Hotel and rooms would benefit from a bit of updating but was comfortable enough for an overnight stay.
The staff were very friendly when we arrived and showed us around the facilites as it was our first time staying there. Had a lovely view of the coast from our room. Beautiful beer garden to sit enjoying a drink on a rare sunny day in Scotland! Breakfast was fantastic. Full Scottish with best scrambled egg ever.

We visit annually to celebrate hubbies birthday .. this year 80 had family coming for dinner party on the day .. excellent hotel staff food and room .. highly recommend hotel and staff all helpful and friendly
