Helpful welcoming friendly staff. Good location for local restaurants and cafes and Arran ferry.
Pros:

Very Good options for cereal, fruit and juices. Friendly and welcoming service by hotel staff

Cons:

Decor could have been a bit brighter but room neat and clean.

Good value in a good location.
Pros:

The breakfast and evening meal were very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

The room could have been cleaner. The carpet was particularly dirty. The room and bathroom could do with being redecorated.

Comforrable, clean and freshly decorated.
Food was very good esoecially breakfast. Sraff could not gave been more helpful.

Cons:

Noisy electric showers. Can be heard in other rooms.

A great place to stay
Pros:

We went to Troonfor a concert and wanted to be fairly central as well as near the sea. The South Beach Hotel proved to be perfect. We had a room on the top floor with a sea view - it was spacious, well furnished and had a lovely window seat to enjoy the view. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious! We will definitely come here again if we return to Troon.

We loved our stay at South Beach the staff were excellent and we thought we got value for money!
Pros:

The Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The Breakfast was superb.
The Room was very comfortable and spacious.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at South Beach Hotel.

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower was not strong enough!

Pros:

Lovely staff, great location, nice breakfast. Special mention to the young person in breakfast duties who was very professional and polite

Cons:

Don't expect a boutique hotel, it is what it is..
No lift/elevator, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues/are American.

Nice to place to stay with wonderful staff and good amenities.
Pros:

Breakfast was huge and well done, my room was nice. Dinner was good and the choice of whiskies was excellent, as was the fact that the bar was open late.

Cons:

At times it maybe could have been a little bit warmer in my room but generally it was fine. There could have been a towel rail in the bathroom.
