The place has a really bad smell like an old chip pan, iv had different rooms here but the latest one was really bad the smell was knocking me sick.

Ok for one night
Pros:

Absolutely lovely breakfast, very friendly staff, the hotel is very clean and the mattress was comfortable. Nice clean bed linen. Breakfast was in a pleasant dining area. Free coffee available whenever wanted also a very nice touch.

Cons:

Pillows were rather old and well used. Room quite small, difficult to access wardrobe. Couldn't open window, luckily it was a mild night, rather than hot but the room did feel stuffy. Having confirmation in advance that check out was 11am then receiving a message at 10:13am stating checkout was 10am. Also was shocked to receive an email the day before we were due to stay that personal ID, eg driver's licence, passport, was required, this was never requested on arrival or during our stay but did seem very strange to receive after booking and paying in full, with no cancellation allowed, a couple of weeks before our stay. Had difficulty getting most channels on the television, could only view one and it wasn't a channel we'd usually watch.
