We loved the ease of everything. Trish, the owner was very kind and welcoming. The staff were all fantastic. The rooms were bright, airy, comfortable.
We had three nights with delicious dinners and very plentiful portions…..Steak and Ale Pie etc 😊😊

The breakfast was good, I loved the location, near to the High Street.
The staff were friendly and made me feel at home.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Had a bar meal too which was tasty and generously-sized. Large selection of menu items. Reasonably-priced and good breakfast next morning.
Small things - Showerhead fixing was a bit loose on wall of shower cubicle. Waitress forgot to bring butter and jam with our toast and milk for our coffee at breakfast. Also slight noise at night from 'Sharkey's' across the road but stopped before we slept.

This hotel is very tired, stuffy and smells bad.
The rooms are very dated with mould in the showers.

Breakfast was very good and I would recommend we didn’t get to see much of the town because we arrived and left when it was dark. The park was very nice to walk the dogs I would make a point of visiting again and spending time in the are.
Staff were friendly; bar food and breakfast were good ; beds were very comfortable - bed linen very clean ; water was hot; room was a comfortable temperature.
Lighting on stairs not good, especially if someone was visually impaired ; bathroom lacked grab rails for those with accessibility needs; no where to hang bathrobe/ towels when using the shower or to hang coats in the bedroom (only wardrobe)
Staff were attentive
Room was roasting hot no access to a fan, door handle was dodgy scared we would get locked in, club across road too loud. No safety on sash window, bath needed cleaned.
