Perfect stay!
Pros:

We have had 4 fantastic days at this hotel. The staff is service minded and always happy. it's a very family atmosphere. The rooms are clean and bright and well planned. The breakfast where you can order eggs and cappuccino is very good. You can easily rent bikes from the hotel and cycle into town which is close by. It is only a few minutes' walk to the nice beach. We really recommend this hotel!!!

Exceptional friendly family run hotel with delicious food and roof terrace
Pros:

I recently met my friend Sylvia from London at her favourite hotel in Forte dei Marmi, Italy, Hotel Miramare. I was amazed at not only how delightful this hotel is but how friendly and efficient the owners Rita and Giulio and their staff are. Giulio is also a superb chef. All this for an affordable price! Sylvia says it best "If you are looking for a place to stay in Forte dei Marmi, Italy, to enjoy peace and quiet, the pleasure of delightful rooms and delicious food, all with exceptional and friendly service, the Hotel Miramare is the one to choose. All the beautiful flowers and greenery to admire whether you sit comfortably in the garden downstairs or on the roof terrace is a plus. After four visits in five years I can still only highly recommend."
It is three short blocks to the beach and bicycles are available.
Free airport transportation to and from Pisa if you stay at least a week.

Like at home
Pros:

Wonderful stay with kind personnel and delighting breakfast. Rooms might need some restyling (no AC) but they have mosquito nets on the windows and a big fan on the ceiling. Big bathroom with bathtube and window. Close to the wonderful beach (about 5-700 m) they also rent bicycles to easily go to the centre of Forte dei Marmi (about 5 m distance).
About the restaurant, food is very good, they are flexible to adapt to children needs and there are 2 room where to dine, one inside and another outside in the garden under a gazebo structure.

I really suggest the hotel (and the restaurant) if you have children and if you like to stay in places a bit more relaxed than the standard hotels.

A great stay for an affordable price!
Pros:

The owner's Rita and Giulio are the most wonderful hosts and extremely passionate about providing the best stay for their guests. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and we felt like part of their family by the time we left. All the guests truly enjoyed interacting with them. The hotel is only a few blocks away from the beach. Giulio is a fantastic chef who creates a delicious complimentary breakfast buffet with much attention to detail. Local delicacies for lunch and dinner based on one's choice are available as well. Rita went above and beyond to make our vacation an unforgettable stay. She always had a smile on her face and was available for any question we had. They offer bike rentals for 5 Euros/day, which was the perfect way to cruise around. They have agreements with nearby beaches for a discounted rate of 30 instead of 45 Euros for chairs and umbrellas. We stayed 2 nights at Miramare and one night at the impeccable Ortensia B&B right across from their hotel. We loved our room with the beautiful balcony there and dream of returning soon.

Excellent Hotel!
Pros:

We visit this lovely family run (Ciao Rita and Giulio!) hotel every year when we visit Tuscany and we are always welcomed like family ourselves by Rita.

The hotel itself is tucked away close to the centre of Forte dei Marmi in quite a residential area, well away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but within easy walking distance, or you can use the bikes the hotel supplies if you are feeling more energetic; there are excellent cycle paths running pretty much the length of this part of the Versilia coastline in both directions.

The hotel is absolutely spotless, and there always seems to be an air of calm about the place, even when it is fully booked which it seems to be most of the time it is open; obviously a direct reflection of it's reputation. The rooms are very spacious, and again spotlessly clean. There is a beautiful roof terrace with fantastic views of the mountains and surrounding area, kitted out with sunbeds if you don't feel like going to the beach.

On to the food. Giulio is the Chef and he loves to cook! Whenever we go there is always a good choice, the food being typical local Italian, prepared with fresh ingredients, simply cooked and you can taste the care that has been taken. Seafood and fish is a speciality being so close to the sea, but the meats and pasta are equally delicious (my Penne Arribiata was hot hot, just as I requested!). We generally leave the hotel feeling like we don't need to eat again for another couple of days, and this time was no exception.

All in all, this hotel, in my opinion deserves a third star. I've been meaning to post a review for a while, so now I finally have. If you are looking for a lovely, reasonably priced hotel in Forte dei Marmi, you won't get better than Hotel Miramare.

Smart and Cosy
Pros:

A lovely family business hotel in the center of Forte dei Marmi.
The management is extremely kind and helpful. You really feel home!
Rooms are very clean. Triple rooms are also available and suites for families.
Half or full board is offered in a flexible and convenient way: you just decide the morning of the same day and pick a dish from the menu of the day or from many other options. Loved it!
Bikes available (5 euros/day) to ride easily in the village, to the beach or to the villages near by.
