California Comfort and Suites

Air conditioner worked well. Hot water was a little sketchy but had enough. On site restaurant was great with a decent bar. Staff was great. Didn't use the pool but it looked wonderful. I'd definitely stay again.

Staff was nice

If they had 10 stars I would give it. The property is gorgeous, well maintained, rooms kept up & super clean, most comfortable beds ever. Location is quiet, near dental clinics if needed, hotel zone, markets. The pool is spectacular, no screaming kids, people from all over the world. I am an older senior who traveled alone and was worried but I felt so safe here. The room was very secure, there is a safe in the room for your passport/cash and the Owner lives on the premises, 24 hour office.
Then there is the staff; I’ve never seen such kindness. We aren’t talking just professional formality but being treated as family. From the front desk (Maria and Adrian) to the manager (Lupita) to the housekeeping and wait staff. These people are the kindest, most patient & want to do everything they can to make your stay perfect. And the Owner, George, is such an incredible kind soul, I looked forward to seeing him every day, the most interesting man too. He went out of his way to make sure I got coffee every am, to even getting peanut butter left in my room as I mentioned I liked that for breakfast because of dental issues in conversation never expecting anything from it. Just a couple of many wonderful things about the owner.
I will always come back here and I was never so sad to leave, I cried because not only did I leave a beautiful place but I felt like I was leaving a new family who adopted me. I’ve stayed at gorgeous hotels around the U.S and Paris but this was up there in my top 2

The pool area is a little in need of painting. Our room needed a night light repaired. Everything else was perfect. Minor things don’t matter because they fix everything if you let them know. Will continue to stay here. Expedia said there was room for 29 a night but when I tried to book it wasn’t available. However the

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and facilities. Good restaurant and coffee shop attached. They hold a $30 deposit or your ID against staining any linens, blankets, and towels with blood, or anything else, as they host many dental tourists, which is fine, but with everything being white, they don't provide anything to sleep on or wipe and clean with, like a colored towel or pillowcase in case you do happen to bleed from work done.

A very wonderful experience! Prices are fantastic! From food, pharmacy, doctors. People are so nice and accommodating! Great place to shop and doctor visits! I've been there three times in an eight years span. I'll do again!

There is a pool, an affordable restaurant ( free coffee and ice.) The price is much higher than I previously paid, and there is no desk for the laptop, and I was unable to fix the TV to English. The staff is very courteous. The rooms are very clean They'll give you a free ride to the dentist, or, you can walk. Everything is nearby. The sidewalks are all very treacherous, crooked, damaged, dangerous. I still did not have good luck with my dental outcomes. This was the 5th trip in about a year, and still disappointed.

We had a great stay at California Comfort & Suites. Having the coffee shop and restaurant right there was wonderful. Since we have a hard time walking a lot the shuttle service was perfect. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. We have to go back and we will book there again. Only complaint was the beds were harder than we are used to and it would be nice if they had a table and two chairs in the room to do computer work, play cards etc. Our double bed room could fit a table and chairs with some minor rearranging. Just a suggestion that would have made it even better.

All in all the California Comfort Suites is a nice place to stay everybody is very friendly and helpful to my needs

Good, Clean affordable.

Good hotel

I liked the friendly staff and guests, the coffee bar, the upstairs bar and the good, reasonably priced meals, the yummy donuts, the little swimming pool, the location.

We stayed in a suite meaning it had a kitchen with a table. But there was only one chair with the table, yet two people for the room. The towel shelf in the bathroom was not attached to the wall and fell on me in the middle of the night when using the bathroom. It was dark due to electricity being out from a storm. Headboard on bed was not attached. The TV was too small, but english channels wre available. The bed was firm. All of this may make it sound bad, but it really wasn't. The room was clean but just needs some TLC. Dining and prices were very good.

I liked having a room above the main courtyard. The office staff moved me to a room there after I was first given a room across the street.
I didn't like that there was smoking allowed around the pool, I enjoyed sitting out at the pool but that seemed to be where everyone went to smoke because there were the large cigarette ashtrays there.
I enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and margaritas, food and beverages were tasty.

Clean place

I arrived early and they let me check in then I get out with my day. What was really good about this property is that it has a coffee shop with pastry and also a restaurant that serves really good Mexican food so it was very convenient for the type of trip I was on
