Gate of heaven was lovely
Pros:

The location was amazing, service was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There was a wedding on the last day of our stay and we were made feel not important anymore. For checkout we were aloud to leave from outside rather coming in to even wash hands.

Encantada!
Pros:

Además de lo obvio, el lugar está por demás espectacular, el trato del personal, en nuestro caso Ricardo, fue maravilloso. Todos los servicios complementarios, apoyo en traslados, reservaciones etc increíble!

Cons:

Lo único que no me encantó es el paso constante y pesado de turistas a las áreas del hotel, no se siente privado o exclusivo. Pero entiendo que esos jardines se tienen que compartir.

Pros:

The location alone is sensastional, and being able to access the gardens when they are closed and not so hectic is great. The staff were so kind and helpful. The griffo transport from the train station makes getting your luggage down much easier. Definately take the time to have a drink after the gardens close to the public on the terrace.

Cons:

The hotel is a little dated on the inside including the rooms. THey're still completely serviceable but not a luxury stay in terms of the rooms themselves. Not a complaint but just so people are aware no food is served at the bar and theres no pool or immediate lake access for swimming.

The staff were all very helpful, friendly and efficient (going out of their way for you in a heartbeat).
Breakfast was lovely.

Pros:

Amazing hotel with spectacular views. Staff were soo friendly and welcoming especially Riccardo was so helpful and nice had explained everything for us. We’ve booked classic room but were upgraded to suite with beautiful view. Also were presented nice gifts during check out. Definitely one the best hotel we’ve been with great breakfast

Stunning property on Lake Como with comfortable rooms and great dining!
Pros:

What a beautiful property on Lake Como! The room was very comfortable and the staff at the hotel was awesome! They picked us up at the Train Station parking and helped with all our luggage. The botanical gardens were lovely to stroll through before dinner. We had a nice light dinner meal and cocktails with a view of the lake. The breakfast was included in our visit and it was amazing!

Cons:

The entrance to town is one way and the parking can be difficult if you are in a large vehicle (we had a van). However, they will pick you up in a golf cart from the public parking and take you to the hotel, so you don't have to roll all your luggage through town.

Beautiful location. Great that it includes free access to the botanical garden, including outside of the working hours for other visitors. Friendly staff who try to be helpful. Warm welcome with treats and water.

Cons:

Weddings or events with loud music in the backyard right below the window every night we stayed, which went on from late afternoon to 9pm. Slow communication - we tried to contact them by text and email to request transportation on two occasions, but didn’t hear back for approximately an hour so we ended up having to walk (they were apologetic about this, to be fair). Welcome gift was supposed to include a bottle of Prosecco, but there wasn’t one for us.
