Pros:

Check in was very average
Food service was terrible. Ordered pizza only to be told 20 mts later that they didn’t have all the ingredients and then ordered crumbed squid that was very over cooked. Almost inedible. I did receive a free drink and the room was great

All of the above comments. If there was a negative aspect the shower head was a little too big splashing the bathroom floor - slippery. Otherwise a most enjoyable experience. Will book next time when kitchen is open.

Honestly, I never fill these surveys out. But the service from the team behind the bar on the day I checked in was exceptional! Extremely accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure my out of hours check in was smooth. Everything was great.

We are a couple in their late 70's. We were told our room would be ready at 12 noon. We arrived shortly after that and found that it was not ready.
We attended a nephew's funeral in the afternoon and my husband was quite unwell when we got back and had trouble getting up the stairs. About 5 minutes later someone came to the door and offered us alternative accommodations but as it meant tackling the stairs again I refused it. On second thoughts I should have accepted but my husband was not well enough to have to move at that time. My problem is if that unit was available in the afternoon, why were we not offered it on arrival, even if it cost more I would have preferred it, especially as it apparently had its own en suite.

Pros:

Expedia allowed me to book a room that was unavailable so had to get another room for the second bed. Caused some dramas but the hotel ended up giving me a 2nd room at no extea charge so that was nice.

Pros:

Convenient and cheap place to stay when traveling. Staff were friendly and helpful. Could have done with a small desk in the room but otherwise for the price excellent value.
