We couldn't shower the water was absolutely scolding. Reported it to manager he told me to run bath first then turn on the shower no difference. Net curtains were ripped and dirty and mattresses were just awful loads of bumps and dips new mattresses required. The pool was not open although in one of the questions asked was the pool open your answer was from may. But this was in August 2021.
Parking staff and general nice hotel very good location
Nothing
How close it was to the town and beach and it was very quiet
It needs a better cleaner all glass was smeared the shower needs a deep clean full of mould
rude reception man
poor water pressure
Location
Bit tired looking
Location easily accessible by public transportation
There was no fone in the room and no any information at all, not even emergency exit instructions. Room 47 was filthy in the bathroom room, shower head was detached, water very hot even when u u try mixing with cold water it doesn’t get to a neutral warmth. We were allocated this room early around 12 and told the beds were made but room not yet cleaned. We came back evening to a room cleaned up nothing done in bathroom. We had to use our wet wipes than stepping in to a filthy bath tub. We only had half a loo roll. We couldn’t even use the dirty kettle for tea. The beds have seen their days but comfortable and nicely made. Thankfully it was just an overnight stay. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
Good location
The location and parking.
The hotel. Pool covered over. The hotel looks like it hasn't been maintained in years.
1st room: Toilet cistern was hanging off the wall. Went to reception immediately to change room and make them aware. I didn't want them blaming us.
2nd room: No light in bathroom - we had to drag a lamp in there. I wasn't changing room again. Only 1 light worked in main room. A cupboard door fell off (I made them aware). Massive dips in floor. Shower head holder was broken. Flow from shower was next to nothing but whatever. The wall opposite the toilet was mirrored which led to an unusual number 2. Ok. There was "stuff" floating in the kettle. No idea what but no chance were we having a cuppa. No fan so room was hot as... We were too scared to check the mattress as it was too late in day to find another hotel.
Honestly, I can't believe we paid £135 a room for a night here. Get yourself a Travelodge.
good easy check in after arriving a little late on the train, fair size room with tv and tea coffee facilities, good value for a cheap overnight stop. Didn't use facilities as I wasn't there long enough.
