Staff need retrained on how to speak to customers
Pros:

This isn’t the first time I’ve been here, as a local in the town I’ve been many many times.
I have always enjoyed the food hence why I return, on this occasion the food wasn’t up to much. Quite sad as I took friends who had t been before.
Out service was shocking, but again didn’t expect much on that front as every single time we have been in the last 4 years it’s been the same, Louise I believe her name is should not work on front of house she is rude and can’t even be bothered to greet people or at the very least smile.
I was really embarrassed as I said I took friends after raving about how good food was.
Even my friends commented about the woman’s attitude.
I think the owner needs to retrain some staff members because it really is shocking.
Many people from the town have also commented on this.
I’ve never left a review before as I don’t like to however on this occasion I have just had enough.
I wont be back again.

Pros:

There is an amazing chef at the restaurant on the property.

Cons:

It was not great for a single person, but when I needed wasn’t nearby. For pubs and activities something a little more towards the center of town, but frankly, this was a peaceful retreat for walks on the shore and close by train station.

Clean, convenient location and friendly staff
Pros:

We had the dinner which was very reasonably priced and tasty. All staff that we met were really friendly, relaxed and helpful. We were without a car for the evening, but all facilities were so close to the hotel that we weren't inconvenienced. The room was clean, with a view of the sea and did the trick for us.

Cons:

Our room was ready early but we had to pay £10 to access it. This is common practice now in all hotels, but always feels like you are paying extra for something that they have done anyway, we didn't specifically ask for it to me ready early. That said however, it did not take away from the visit and the convenient location and friendly staff more than made up for it.
