What a wonderful hotel! My wife and I had a beautiful 8 nights in Madrid at this well located and lovely spot. It is conveniently located in a relatively quiet street, just steps away from the crowds headed to the Puerta del Sol and Christmas festivities. The room was spacious and beautiful organized and maintained. Every member of the staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Each with a smile and great attitude.

A special shoutout to the concierge staff, who were so helpful in arranging our excursions and restaurants. They found us a great guide for Madrid and Seville (Bravo Alfonso!)

Finally, don’t discount the restaurants. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The lobby lounge was comfortable and friendly. The restaurant was also very good and we did not regret the night we wanted to stay close and eat in the hotel. It was delicious.

I stayed for just one night on a short business trip, but was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, and the room was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming after a long day.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gran Hotel Inglés in Madrid. The front desk staff were extremely professional, the concierges demonstrated excellent knowledge, and the bell staff were always attentive. Our room felt incredibly romantic and added a special touch to our visit.

The F&B team delivered exceptional service with great professionalism. We tried the cocido and can easily say it was one of the best we’ve ever had.

Overall, an outstanding experience — highly recommended.

Very good hotel and service. As I have traveled across various hotel brands, their level of service can be compared to bvlgari in Milan. All staffs are really courteous. The location is very convenient. Rooms are really good, size and finishing of shower area is amazing. The restaurant in the lobby is also good, they are a bit over the time but it might be due to all dishes are made then and there, i shows in the quality of the food👌🏻 concierge team is also amazing in getting any booking in restaurants or calling cabs. Overall they made our stay in madrid memorable🙌🏻

I had an amazing dinner at Lobbyto at Gran Hotel Ingles! The food was exquisite and delicious, every dish was a delight. The staff were attentive, professional, and always smiling, making the experience even more enjoyable. And to top it off, they made my birthday extra special by bringing out a dessert with a candle and singing 'Happy Birthday' together! Grazie mille for making my evening so memorable!" 😊

The hotel is located in the heart of Madrid which give an easy access to all the beautiful museums, The Cathedral and the Royal Palace etc. I was warmly welcomed as my taxi emerged at the hotel entrance and I was received with amazing smile by the bellman Prince and was introduced to the front desk manager Jorge who did an exceptional job in making sure that my room was ready even before the official check-in time. Every body was very welcoming and I was feeling like a royalty as Prince accompanied me to my beautiful and well made room and gave me a very well detailed tour of the room. My thanks goes to Mark who gave me very good recommendations of nice restaurants and the food was delicious. As a matter of fact I will go back with my family next spring. They are simply the best. Thank you all for your good work.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Gran Hotel Inglés! The staff was so friendly and welcoming (especially Esteban), and the location was central to everything we wanted to do in Madrid (most of our activities were within walking distance even). And the room was absolutely perfect. We are already planning our next trip back to Madrid, and this is where we will stay!

We were treated like royalty from the moment we stepped out of our cab. Mark, the Bellman, was exceptional in his service. He not only handled our bags and showed us everything about our room, he brought us coffee and juice while we sat in the comfortable chairs during check-in. He is an asset to their hotel. This hotel is exceptional in their staff, rooms and location. The staff will go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. I got exactly the room I had asked for, a high floor and a quiet location. I’m a light sleeper and I didn’t hear a sound all night. Everything is for your comfort, including the slippers and bathrobes. My husband enjoyed having a drink at the elegant bar area and talking with the bartender. We were only there for two nights, I would’ve loved to have been there much longer. There’s a good restaurant on the corner called “The Rollerie”. It is definitely worth spending a few extra dollars to stay in such comfort and excellence.

From the moment I arrived until I left, the hotel exceeded my expectations. Every staff member was helpful and went out of their way to accommodate each of our requests to make our stay special. No request was too big or too small. Even when I was out in the city, they were quick to respond to requests for restaurant suggestions or directions on how to get back to the hotel by train. They arranged reservations to dinner, a flamenco show and transfers to and from the hotel flawlessly. By the end of the stay, the waiter at the restaurant had memorized our drink orders from breakfast. Each time we returned to the hotel, we were greeted with a friendly, "Welcome back Ms. ____, how was your tour, or how was our day.? This is a top-notch hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Five-Star service in every way.

Everything about Gran Hotel Ingles was luxurious and first class. Reception was warm and professional. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was elegant. Linens, towels, and pillows were great. The concierge and porter were very helpful and thoughtful with excellent information and recommendations.

During my recent trip to Madrid, I stayed at the Gran Hotel Inglés and had a truly enjoyable experience. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of great restaurants, bars, and cultural spots. The hotel itself blends classic charm with modern comfort, creating an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and intimate.
The staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional, always ready to assist with anything I needed. My room was beautifully decorated, quiet, and very comfortable, with all the small details you expect from a high-end boutique hotel. The breakfast was excellent as well, offering quality options and a relaxed setting.
The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that some services felt slightly slower than expected during busy hours. Nothing major—just small delays that stood out compared to the overall high standard.
Still, it’s a wonderful place to stay in Madrid, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return on my next visit.

We had a room overlooking the street and this would be a five star review if it not for the noise. Request an inside room and should be better. All else was very exceptional at this hotel and would stay there again because of the staff, accommodations and location.

We chose the Gran Hotel Inglis as our email to ask about the hotel, its location and the choice of rooms available was responded to promptly and beautifully and all our questions were answered. It appeared to us that the staff had a pride in the hotel and were not just replying to an email. Compared to other hotels we emailed who were slower to respond and with less attention and details on their reply. Pre-arrival the Concierge helped us book tours and restaurants and the recommendations were excellent. The guide service to visit the hotel was knowledgeable and professional. The restaurants suggested were worth dining at. On arrival the support was excellent. We were welcomed, nothing was an issue and the offer to take our hire car to the carpark was wonderful, given we were not familiar with Madrid roads. We had joked, when navigating our way through busy Madrid (and taking a few wrong turns) to the hotel at night around 7pm about asking the hotel to take the car to the carpark for us and to collect it too! Then we were so grateful when the Manager offered this service! The Reception, Concierge, Housekeeping and Restaurant/ Bar and breakfast teams were polite, efficient and friendly. Always saying hello and asking about our day (at all hours 8am through to 2am). Nothing was too difficult for the team and their responsiveness and assistance was above expectations. Calling us taxis and following through to make sure they arrived, especially 3am for the airport. Then of course, the location of the Gran Ingles Hotel is so central to explore Madrid and makes sightseeing and choosing from many local restaurants easy. The Premier Room we booked with the bath and the three balconies was lovely and the features and amenities perfect. Looking over the street from the balcony, particularly our first night was bliss and exciting. The king bed was comfortable. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you to the Gran Hotel Ingles. We had a great stay in Junior Suite. Leaving tomorrow - unfortunately. Beautiful property in the heart of Madrid, close to everything. Gorgeous inside, lively lobby, bar and great restaurant. The room is very nicely decorated with design features throughout. Most importantly - the hotel has history and this rare feel that guests are family. The entire team works really hard to make you feel at home. Thank you for wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at the Gran Hotel Ingles!, Madrid. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are some of the most comfortable we've ever stayed. In addition, the staff are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet at a hotel. The head concierge (Nuria) and her team (Prince, Mark, Javier, etc) were so helpful and courteous navigating us through all things Madrid. But also, the front desk staff of Joaquin, Alina, Annia were just as polite and helpful as the concierge staff. If you're planning a trip to Madrid, Spain I highly recommend staying at this hotel, you won't be disappointed! Thank you to everyone at the Gran Hotel Ingles!!
