Deluxe City Hotel

I stayed at your hotel for two nights with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The room we were given was extremely small and not clean. We had booked a room with one double bed and a child’s bed, but what we received did not match the description at all.

Additionally, the breakfast on the first day was of very poor quality. However, I would like to sincerely thank the chef — a very kind and friendly lady — for her effort and positive attitude. She was one of the few highlights of our stay.

I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and that improvements will be made in the future

I’ve stayed at dozens of high-end hotels around the world—from Four Seasons to Park Hyatts—but nothing quite compares to the warmth, location, and unbelievable value of Deluxe Hotel in downtown Baku.

From the moment I arrived, Osman and Vaqif—the two exceptional gentlemen who run the hotel—treated me like a VIP guest. They made sure everything was perfect: offering a free upgrade, giving me a late checkout, and even personally showing me around the area. Their hospitality felt personal, sincere, and truly above and beyond.

The hotel itself is situated dead center in the Baku City Circuit, just steps away from the waterfront and directly in front of the iconic Crescent Building. Step outside and you’re within arm’s reach of two fantastic local coffee shops, seaside promenades, and the pulse of Baku’s vibrant downtown.

The price? Almost unbelievable. I would have gladly paid three to five times what I did—the value is that extraordinary. My room was clean, stylish, and well-appointed, and the entire experience felt effortlessly luxurious without the pretension.

If you’re coming to Baku and want a boutique hotel experience with world-class service, unbeatable location, and a welcoming human touch, Deluxe Hotel is the place to be. I’ll absolutely be returning.

It was truly a wonderful hotel experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly staff and a clean, spacious atmosphere. The rooms were very comfortable and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. Breakfast was rich and delicious. The location of the hotel was both quiet and central, making transportation very easy. I stayed at this hotel in May 2024, and unfortunately, my experience was far from acceptable. Upon check-in, the staff requested to see my Booking.com app to verify the confirmation. While I handed over my phone and passport, I believe my PIN code was copied without my knowledge.

After my stay, I was shocked to find that my Booking.com account had been disabled, and the booking was marked as cancelled, even though I stayed there in full. I couldn’t even leave a review on Booking.com due to the account suspension.

I have written to booking.com and explained the situation, hope unban my account. Please do not booking this hotel. If you do then please do-not share any screenshots and do not hand over them your phone, they will copy your PIN number and abuse your account.

Hotel was close to everything we needed.

This is the worst possible place I ever stayed at in many years and as a couple of reviews have mentioned, they're a complete scam. Let's start with the scam part before talking about the terrible accomodation. Upon check-in, they pretended that the booking system was not working and took a picture of my reservation number & pin of booking.com confirmation from my phone screen. Later in the day, I was notified by booking.com that they have disabled my account and won't offer me services anymore. After much digging around, it turns out that they used the reservation number and the pin to change the email address on my booking (so later they can leave a good review as someone else pointed out in one of the reviews). They also said something to booking.com that I didn't show up and my card details were incorrect, and send some emails on my behalf to booking.com (after changing the email address on the booking) which led to booking.com suspending my account. So I ended up losing my years of booking history, travel credits and discount status. After a lot of back & forth with booking.com, sending them receipts that I'm staying at the hotel and a lot of hassle, now they're investigating the incident whether they want to unblock my account. By doing this scam, they not only leave a good review for themselves but also don't pay the commission to booking.com and charge the card for the same amount upon check-in.

The accomodation itself is in a run-down building that has just been carpeted to look better inside. The room was a disaster. The air conditioning did not work at all and the air vents were flithy dirty as they were never cleaned. Paint was coming off from several places in the room and there were early signs of possible mold growing. There are no promised amenities in the room (iron, water boiler, cups, coffee, tea, water, safety box, nothing). A couple of towels had a hole in them. The walls were not sound proof at all and I could clearly hear the people next door as well as the traffic on the road. The drain smelled terrible and the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, so the room smelled too and it felt like sleeping next to a sewer. Leaving the window of the room open to get some air was an option but that meant even more noise from outside. Terrible breakfast with almost no food. Things that are finished are not replenished. Even an hour before the end of breakfast time, there was nothing left other than a boiled egg and a glass of juice (not even coffee).

SCAM, SCAM, STAY AWAY !
I stayed at this hotel recently and it was a disaster . I actually left a day earlier because it was so bad. Firstly , the property changed the email in the confirmation so I cannot leave a review . The room was nothing like in the description on Booking.com . The is no kettle , tea or coffee available . The room was dirty, the windows were broken and it was filled with cigarettes smoke . All the reviews are fake . DO NOT BOOK !

I stayed in Deluxe city hotel Baku from 10 to 12 oct 2022… staff is very cooperative, location is very good, rooms are clean. Front desk staff speak English, it was a comfortable stay.
There are two famous tourists visit places Nizami street and Sahil. Bith places are at walking distance.

Hotel is dated and on a busy, noisy road. Staying here for just a couple of nights is oke.
Curtains did not fully close, causing light in the room and also expsoing you as a guest to the street.

Staff is very friendly and helpfull, had to have an early breakfast and they went to great length to accomodate that.

We stayed 4 night in Sep 2019 in Deluxe city hotel .The most important issue about this hotel is its lovely staffs... all the stafs treated with guests extremely kind & polite. I have not ever seen such an amazing persons like Elgiz & Farid who are working in front desk. The gustes are welcomed by their smile & open heart. If I was the owner of this hotel,never lost such brilliant persons like this two staffs since they are the real assets of this property.

The hotel was so clean & every day all towels & sheets replaced with new ones & paper toiltes & other supplies charged.
Breakfast buffet was basic,but you could order omlet freely & the taste & quality of omlets were great,specially tomato omlet.😋

The hottel location was awesome & it was only 5 min walk to park boulvevard.It is also close to targovi street & 28 mall & u can reach them by 15 min walk.

The negetive point about the hotel was the noise & we could hear the conversations from corridors easily.

Also double beds was not actually double,I suppose they had put 2 single bed next to each other & was a little uncomprtable & hard,so mattress could be more softer.

generally we recommend this hotel to others & will come back again If we visit Baku.

Great Hotel in BAKU. Easy walk to the town center with enough distance away from the noise and crowd.
In the center of everywhere so make it easy for getting around anywhere in Baku.
Addition to that the hotel is surrounded by many restaurants with different cuisine make this hotel rank right on top.
Beautiful building. Extraordinarily attentive staff. Felt like returning home every time I returned to the hotel.
World-class property. Beautiful Hotel in an outstanding location. Elegant in every respect. Great Art, spectacular flowers and terrific views everywhere with an excellent breakfast buffet.
Rooms are large and very comfortable comparing to other hotels, spacious and well-appointed rooms.
What really sets this property apart from other hotels is that it is in outstanding location, charming staff; they have the knowledgeable of everything, multi-lingual and ready to serve! (Farid ,Osman and Elgiz ).
Finally, I would like to recommend this hotel for anyone who want to a peace of mind and relaxes

I stayed in 2 occasions due to my itinerary so I got to experience 2 types of room in this hotel.
The room is quite spacious for 2 persons. Clean and fresh.
Located near the Baku boulevard and the main hotels and port of Baku, very convenient. Even it takes about only 25 minutes walk to the old city.
All the staffs are friendly and helpful especially at the front desk, Fareed.who gave me special tips about sight seeing in Baku.
A supermarket is 3 blocks away and for a budget hotel surrounded by 2 major international hotel chains, this is a great bargain.

Deluxe City Hotel is not at all a 5 star impersonal hotel, it is a quite comfort and familiar hotel instead - those that you feel at home and all the staff makes this happen!! Very well located, not far from the Freedom Square and the Caspian see, it is a very good choice for a reasonable priced hotel in Baku with the support of a nice and friendly staff. I'd like to thanks all of them for making special my 10 day stay in Baku.

Все было бы отлично,если бы по приезду 8 марта и наличие брони именно с 8 марта,нам вдруг не сообщили,что мест нет и наша бронь с 9 марта. В итоге, первые сутки мы провели в ужасном дружественном плохом отеле Адмирал. Что касается сити делюкс-я бы приехала сюда во второй раз,если бы была уверена в том,что мое проживание начнется с забронированной даты, а не на сутки позднее.
