Pros:

The location in terms of views around the property and the overall landscape of the property is decent and the only respite i would say.

Cons:

Sorry for the long review but VERY VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU SPEND MONEY HERE.

From the comfort of reaching to the room, to the cleanliness and service to the attitude of GM, it got bad to worse.

We booked the skytop cottage/room, which was so difficult to reach..basically climbing 7 floors of steps. They sell it for the view and a private deck, but when asked for the bonfire arrangements, the reply was.."sir wood available nahin hai!!", this is when the property is in the middle of a forest like vicinity.

On top of it they had installed.a camera.which had the brightest of lights integrated in that, to make our evening/night under the moon plan, an absolute failureand frustating to the core..when requested to figure out an alternative, GM had no answer and was least intersted.to resolve the issue as well. This is when i paid a premium for those skytop cottages. Thats the level of their customer care or guest hospitality he had. Absolutely pathetic and disappointing.

We were 2 families and travelled with 2 kids and all 6 of us had food poisioning when we ordered an ala carte on the final night.

After getting disappointed on the room access, hospitality in general and the overpriced booking, worst.eas that GM lives in the cottage next to us, with a clear and easy acces to our conversations and from his room, if we wish to somehow wish to use the terrace. Thats the level of proffesionalism they have and was absolutely gutted by the sheer casual approach of rhe GM and no concern whatsoever to the guest staying there..

Basically they have a camera and then a GM sitting in the same floor across a window, for one of the most premium rooms in the property supposedly. Attaching images of the night camera and the effect of such bright light, completely spoiling our expericnece of booking a room at a height expecting to sit under the moon light !! Beware before you pay a bomb, to be in these room types especially..

Pros:

Location and view was good.. nice setup of the property with so many greenery and colourful plants.

Cons:

Overall good, just need little care to replace the old items with new.. like sofa covers, shacks mattress..

Pros:

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Shame on Hotels.com for even listing them as it’s not 4 star by any stretch of the imagination. It’s dirty and poorly mantained, the chairs and beds were covered in stains. We checked in and could even stay a few hours. Hotels.com aren’t being very helpful about a refund and the vendor has also kept our money despite all our efforts. Extremely disappointing from both the hotel and hotels.com…. We will be reconsidering using them for hotel booking in the future.

Very Good value for money
Pros:

We stayed in the hotel for one night as we had no idea during booking about the hotel and the great environment, now we regret that we did not stay there longer. The views of the Himalayas from the room were excellent. The hotel staff and their services were simply excellent. Every item of food were tasty and to our surprise they were HEALTHY AND PRACTICALLY OIL FREE.

The famous NEELKANTH temple is about 20 min. drive from the hotel, one can go easily early morning from the hotel and offer puja before rush hours start. The entire stretch of the road to the hotel and there after to the temple is well maintained making the drive very comfortable.

The mobile signal in the rooms are weak but hotel provides free Wi-fi. One has to be careful about monkeys who once in a while make their way to the swings attached to each balcony of the rooms.

Yoga classes, Spa and the relatively small swimming pool are good attractions.
