Desk attendant refused to let us register before 3:00pm. I know it’s the rule but annoying.
thru-the-wall heat/cool unit was noisy; did not control temps well.
Shower took a full five minutes to get hot water.
We got the largest room, but only one small chair, no table.
Frig made a constant loud knocking noise.
None of these are show stoppers but all together convinced me to avoid Holiday Inns.
Breakfast was good one day, not quite as good the other
Housekeeping-stayed 3 nights and towels never refreshed.
They ran out of eggs, but did put out sausage gravy and biscuits
The location is excellent. The breakfast was decent.
We made multiple complaints with the front desk associate's on issues, not only with our room but with the hotel itself. In our room to start with, the fill valve for the toilet was not functioning properly. I would have to pull the tank lid after every use just to be able to flush after the next use. The water pressure in the room was very low and just barely good enough to complete proper sanitation needs. The caulking in the bathroom is disgusting and needs to be replaced. I traveled with my 80 year old mother in law and to not have a proper working toilet is unsafe, not sanitary and should not have had to deal with that. There was not any management on the grounds, none of the staff could make any decisions on their own. We were told that no one from the staff would enter our room until we checked out, even after informing them about the toilet situation. The hotel itself. Elevator’s, one was out of commission, the other has broken buttons, is supper slow and sounds like it’s about to fall apart. Poor water pressure and cleanliness. The lobby restrooms both were completely disgusting with feces all over the the entire room(s) making them completely unusable. All of these things were mentioned to the staff. What they did about it I have not a clue. We checked out and left. We asked to have management contact us before leaving but never received any communication.
