Lovely food
Pros:

All 4 meals were delicious and served piping hot. The atmosphere and wine good.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars... At 10.50 returned from the loo, was told you were closing and my drink was gone! I'd only had 2 sips!
Please give us time to drink the drinks!

Lovely old Inn and I would love to visit again.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast and dinner and the staff were delightful. Unfortunately the boiler was broken but the staff rushed in with portable heaters! It is so close to the Cathedral which was wonderful.

Cons:

Finding the back entrance is a bit of a nightmare but Bradley was incredibly helpful and lent me his phone to navigate the one way system.

Great location, room with character and really comfortable night’s sleep
Pros:

We loved the proximity to the centre of Winchester. The room was a good size and had old world character whilst having every modern convenience. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast in our room was delicious and hot.

Cons:

There was a moderate amount of noise of furniture being moved around around bedtime and our room was directly above the bar, but ear plugs were made available and the noise stopped in time for us to have a quiet and pleasant nights sleep
