Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in The Design House room which was breathtaking.
Winchester is beautiful and the hotel is in the heart of it

Comfortable rooms, great staff, good food, in the heart of beautiful Winchester.
Pros:

The breakfast served to our group was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. It was an absolute pleasure to meet each morning and be greeted by good food and friendly service.

Cons:

There was nothing really. Having worked in hospitality ourselves for over 30 years ( Clefs d’Or Concierge/Chef), we know what to look for.

Perfect location, comfortable stay
Pros:

Free breakfast was great, however, more vegan/gluten free options would be appreciated. Location was perfect, just outside the Cathedral. In the center of the City but still quiet. Provisions in the premises were excellent and daily housekeeping was not expected.

Excellent, great breakfast like no other, super courteous and helpful staff.
Pros:

Breakfast is excellent, very, very good! Staff are very courteous, friendly & helpful. Location is excellent right at the tiny square across the cathedral grounds. We really love staying in that area.

Cons:

I can’t I didn’t like Old Vine. It was just a bit noisy in the evening or bedtime because of other guests, not necessarily the hotel itself.

Lovely place with lovely staff but room had a couple of drawbacks.

Lovely staff, great location and excellent breakfast.

Cons:

The room was a bit stuffy and noisy and had very ugly and annoying emergency lights permanently glowing on the ceiling - never had that before.
