Almost perfect, but not quite.
Pros:

Food and staff were wonderful. Location was fantastic. Entire setting was charming.

Cons:

Our bed, unfortunately, was just not comfortable. The matress was lumpy and sloped and the bed creaked when we moved! I would return in a heartbeat if I could be sure there would be a nicer bed. Everything else was perfection!

The only place I would consider in a trip to Winchester
Pros:

Where do I start. This place and the people who run it are amazing and go above and beyond. The food was great and particularly the breakfast which was incredible in its quality and quantity.

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Old Vine and were very happy that we chose the hotel.
Pros:

We especially enjoyed our morning walk, followed by a lovely English breakfast in the pub. We also enjoyed exploring Winchester at a slow and relaxing pace, including visits to the Great Hall, Westgate Museum and the High Street. The traditional English pub interior and the historic atmosphere of the city made the whole experience feel very special and memorable.

Just a very beautiful bed and breskfast in the heart on fun Winchester!!! Its pub had great food and drinks!

Pros:

Perfectly situated between the cathedral and the high street, a gorgeous building with very friendly and helpful staff. They even let us check in very early as we were going to a wedding out in the countryside. Breakfast was beautiful as well. Already planning a return trip to here.
