This is a magical place set in the woods in Sila National Park, with very easy access to hiking trails and a beautiful setting. This truly felt like a family home stay – Simonette and Eduardo were incredibly welcoming and were happy to talk at length with us about the local culture, history, and food. They also are both outdoor guides and can help with planning hiking adventures in the park. Having grown up in Canada, Simonette is a native English speaker, which is extremely helpful for North American visitors. And the food they serve is a delicious, plentiful, and really represents the local producers. Overall, we had a fantastic stay.
