La tranquilidad y el silencio en la habitación: al estar situado en una calle estrecha, no se tienen vistas, pero tampoco hay ruidos.

Cons:

Desde el principio tuve problemas con la reserva en este alojamiento. Al parecer, el hotel utiliza a Booking como escudo para una serie de prácticas poco comprensibles que lleva a cabo.
La primera es la respuesta que el hotel remite al hacer la reserva, asegurando que la clasificación de 5 estrellas es obra de la plataforma y ajena a ellos (?). No obstante, la continúan utilizando.
Otra cosa sorprendente es que no parecen aceptar cambios de buen grado, aunque estén dentro del plazo permitido. Reservé mucho antes de mi viaje y me vi obligada, al acercarse, a modificar las fechas y la duración de mi estancia en este hotel. Cuando reduje los días en los que iba a quedarme, el precio total de la reserva no disminuyó. Les escribí y, de nuevo, recurrieron a Booking para justificarlo. Sin embargo, fue Booking quien terminó solucionando el problema, porque ellos se desentendían.
Una vez allí, me aseguraron que no tenía contratado el desayuno, pero en mis comprobantes de reserva aparecía lo contrario. La empleada que me atendía, en tono reprobatorio, me dijo que había varios cambios en la reserva y que la última vez había quitado el desayuno. Me mostró los documentos que probaban las modificaciones y lo que ella decía y, curiosamente, el precio de la habitación, después de eliminar el desayuno, era el mismo que con él. De nuevo adujeron que no tenían control sobre lo que hacía Booking (?). Finalmente, accedió a servirnos el desayuno al día siguiente, como una concesión y "sin que sirviera de precedente"... Y eso que yo tenía la factura con el pago desglosado, por la habitación y por el desayuno.
Y un último apunte: el desayuno no merece la pena en absoluto. Aparte de la monotonía en los ingredientes que critican otros clientes, el último día que nos lo sirvieron, tenía una parte calcinada y otra congelada: un completo desastre.

Best staff in Kyoto.
Pros:

Staff were outstanding. Room was great. Bed was the most comfortable I have had the pleasure to sleep in. Staff dealt with our luggage transfers with such ease. No stress for us.

Cons:

It’s a 15-20 minute walk from main area but not an issue

Hotel strepitoso!!
Pros:

Camere enormi, pulizia impeccabile, cortesia e servizi ineccepibili. Uno dei migliori alberghi dove abbia mai soggiornato (viaggio parecchio).

Wonderful Stay
Pros:

This hotel was amazing. The room was very spacious and thoughtfully laid out. There was a closet, a sitting room, a separate toilet room, an amazing shower room and the bed... oh, that bed was so comfortable. It felt like sleeping on a cloud!! The location was great and very easy to get around.

L'emplacement est Ok

Cons:

Ce m'est pas vraiment un hotel mais un petit immeuble avec une dizaine de chambre et une réception.
Notre chambre avait une fenêtre donnant directement sur un mur à environ 1 mètre.
