We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was comfortable, clean and the staff very helpful.
Pros:

The property was clean, modern, served great meals and came with a gym and swimming pool.

Cons:

The location was great for train travellers as it was located within 200m of the railway station but was otherwise it a bit remote from shops etc

Was a great hotel years ago but standards seem to have slipped.
Pros:

Great location next to railway station. Staff were friendly though we were only there for a short stay.

Cons:

I have been here 7 years ago when it was newly opened and looks like change of management/staff since then. Lot of staff in restaurant seemed to be walking around aimlessly with nothing to do but still take a long time to provide orders/drinks etc. One serious incident was that my uncle requested reception staff to keep his ice packs in a freezer over night for his medication and they stored it in a fridge instead. This was not acceptable and dangerous. Staff did not seem to understand the seriousness despite us speaking the local language.

Pleasant hotel in convenient location but some air conditioning issues
Pros:

Great views from balcony, inviting pool and convenient location

Cons:

Air conditioning in room did not work on first night, so we were moved to a new room the next morning. The beds (twin beds) were short for our height. Public areas of the hotel (hallways, restaurant) were somewhat warm despite the air conditioning being on

Super angenehmer Aufenthalt
Pros:

Wir waren mit 8 Personen für 4 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Wir wurden wirklich sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und für die Landeskategorie auch sehr sauber unser Housekeeper Mohammed Hasan hat wirklich einen guten Job gemacht. In zwei unserer Zimmer ging die Dusche gleich am ersten Tag kaputt, diese wurde sofort repariert. In einem Zimmer kam fast nur kaltes Wasser, was aber bei der Außentemperatur nicht wirklich störte. Das Essen war mega lecker und das Servicepersonal perfekt und wirklich sehr aufmerksam. Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr hellhörig, man konnte wirklich jedes Wort, das auf dem Flur gesprochen wurde hören, dies hat uns jedoch nicht gestört, darum gibt es auch keinen Abzug bei den Sternen. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl und wirklich sehr willkommen gefühlt, wir können dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Cons:

Was uns allerdings nicht gut gefallen hat war die Klimaanlage, diese ist direkt gegenüber des Bettes angebracht, sodass man ständig den kalten Luftstrom spürte, selbst bei einer hohen Temperatureinstellung froren wir nachts, ohne Klimaanlage war es allerdings so heiß im Zimmer, dass man auch nicht schlafen konnte. Die Klimaanlage ist einfach an einer falschen Stelle angebracht.
Wenn man etwas zu bemängel hätte, dann wäre es der Pool, es fehlen schon einige Fliesen und mein Sohn ist in eine abgebrochene Fliese getreten, bei kleineren Kindern könnte das zu ernsthaften Verletzungen führen.

Amazing place to stay, with amazing people who really demonstrate the Sri Lankan Tamil culture and hospitality.
Pros:

The people are very kind, the area is very beautiful, and the stay was very pleasant overall.

Cons:

The washrooms could benefit from some renovation due to weathering, but was such a small issue, it wasn’t much of an issue for us.

Pros:

Convenient location. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Service requests were handled promptly. A highlight is the restaurant, especially if you like the local, Jaffna cuisine. The breakfast buffet was extensive. A la carte items at dinner were very well prepared.
