It's a lovely new hotel and the amenities are good. Nice pool and hot tub as well as a gym. But, staying in a corner room, the bathroom is not suited for two people getting ready at the same time. They use a lot of glass partitions and the glass partition between the toilet and the shower is clear. You can see everything everywhere. All fine if you are a single but as a couple? There are some things that are nice to remain a mystery in a relationship. The outside doors to the toilet and shower are semi opaque, so they work well enough. I hope the hotel will rectify this one mistake in an otherwise nice hotel stay. If not, well as a couple, we will stay at one of the older Cherry Creek hotels that has real doors.
Not much
The bathroom doesn't have a real door. It has some bizarre sliding barn door that doesn't seal. So if you are looking for privacy when you use the restroom, you are out of luck. Then the bed is like sleeping on a block of concrete. It caused me excruciating pain every single day, and I am not exaggerating. I woke up several times a night and had a hard time walking the next day. I have never slept on a bed that caused me pain like this, ever in my life. This hotel is trying to be fancy, but is just cheap. Also, they overcharged me. I have never been charged more than a booking site before, and they overcharged me and refused to fix it. Then they tried to charge me for a water that I didn't take or drink.
The hotel was stunning—modern, stylish, and with a wonderful staff. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, but I did stop by for a glass of wine or two. While there were a fair number of guests (around 50–60), the space felt open and never crowded. The rooftop pool was fantastic, and the views were even better. There was some construction happening nearby, but it was hardly noticeable from my room. The hotel is located in a thriving area full of shops, bars, and restaurants. The room itself was very modern and extremely comfortable—truly a great stay.
This hotel should not be an "Autograph Collection" Marriott. The rooms are tiny and dark, the bathroom setup is poor (small mirror, there is a clear glass wall between the toilet and shower. Do I really want to see someone going to the bathroom while I am showering???, etc.) It's in a great location. That is the only positive aspect of this hotel. I've stayed in high-end Marriott hotels (Ritz Carlton) and low-end (Courtyard) and the Jacquard is definitely not worth what they charge for a room.
Charged for car I did not have. Room not as clean as previous visits. Used to provide reusable water bottles at water station. Had to ask multiple times for one. Since a Marriott not as good when it was privately owned. Will no longer go to this hotel. Used to go twice a year.
Breakfast tasted horrible.
Value
The breakfast was delicious and wonderful staff. The hotels location was perfect, and the Cherry Hill area is such a beautiful area of Denver!
No complaints..
The property is great. People friendly. Stayed multiple times. They just won’t give you your Marriott points. They ask every time but they are not in my account.
Super overdue review but wanted to review the great service I had during my staycation.
The pool and the view were outstanding, only thing that would have made it better is if they cleaned the glass railings more because it takes away from the view. Also, can we get a resort fee that’s actually useful, an hour free is not enough time to do things.
Nicole and Yasmin were super nice and helpful, Laura gave great service in Narrative, and appreciate Whaleed for giving me a complimentary ride to a nearby restaurant.
This was my second stay and I will be back.
Such a great hotel. The entire Jacquard staff was a pleasure and made our stay great! I travel weekly and I never post reviews but this is a hotel to stay at and you wont regret it.
Overall nice hotel
Customer service stands improvement. 1) upon checkout receptionist aid “she can’t do anything with that ticket” when I gave it to her. Unnecessary comment. Just direct me to give it to valet. 2) Black out shade didn’t work. We had to stand on desk to pull it down. It was fixed the next day, but still didn’t work. It didn’t work in kids room either. Poor design. 3) water fountains overly complicated (they look nice though) but times we couldn’t figure it out. Juice not worth the squeeze. 4) late check out still had lady knocking on our door in morning to confirm check out time. I was asleep at the time. She was nice enough, but again just an unnecessary interaction. 5) Not sure what the daily amenity charge is. Only saw the sign upon
Checkout. Seems ticky tacky if it is indeed incremental. Breakfast was good. Bar the night before was good. Overall it was fine.
My wife and I had wonderful experience. The facility, its furnishings and cleanliness, the food and most of all the staff were the best. It made our New Eve staycation become a great memory.
We had a wonderful stay at The Jacquard Hotel in Cherry Creek. We were celebrating my daughter’s 12th birthday with her friends, and the service was truly amazing. The team went out of their way to decorate the room and send sweet treats, making the experience feel extra special. Everyone was welcoming and friendly.
The room felt luxurious with high ceilings, a very comfortable bed, and high-end bathroom products. The location is unbeatable—surrounded by great restaurants and just a five-minute walk to Cherry Creek Mall with Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Neiman Marcus, and Tiffany & Co.
We loved this hotel - beautifully designed, hospitable front desk, valet, bell and restaurant staff and super walkable in a fabulous shopping and restaurant area. Would definitely come back again. The only strange thing is the texting functionality: the hotel sent me a pre check-in text asking me if they could prepare anything for me. I responded with a request and then after no reply I texted again - still nothing. When I checked in the front desk staff was surprised too - they had no record on their end of my replies. Extra strange because the two way texting worked fine between me and the Westin we stayed in the other day.
Our view was supposed to be Mountain View and it was obstructed by construction.
And the hot tub was under maintenance which we was unaware of very disappointed
Pros: (1) Heated year-round rooftop pool and hot tub with nice views, (2) great walkable location in Cherry Creek, (3) Narrative Restaurant is attached to The Jacquard, (4) rooms are clean and modern, (5) staff do a great job of keeping the property clean, (6) valet was easy and seamless - you simply text a number before you want your car and they have it waiting for you at the entrance.
Cons: (1) Used Amex Platinum to book but the hotel staff were unsure about what Amex benefits attached (had daily complimentary breakfast and $100 credit, etc.) or how to apply benefits to my stay, overheard other guest having the same problem/question, (2) shower temperature early in the morning (i.e., 5:00 a.m.) doesn't get hot (it's happened on multiple stays) - later in the day temp is fine, (3) the on-sight gym is lacking for true fitness/weightlifting enthusiasts and needs an equipment updated.
It had been several years since I stayed at Jacq. Still has the charm and high end experience I remembered. Keep up the great work.
Great location. Very clean and spacious rooms.
