Tolle Unterkunft. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.
Pros:

Die Eigentümerin ist eine herzliche, sehr aufmerksame, hilfsbereite und fürsorgliche Person. Sie gab uns wertvolle Tipps, wo man in Istanbul gut und günstig essen kann und was man unbedingt gesehen haben muss. Sie war immer zur Stelle, wenn etwas gebraucht wurde oder nicht funktionierte: Der falsch montierte Haken im Badezimmer wurde umgehend ausgetauscht.

Unsere Zimmer waren ausreichend groß, komfortabel, stilvoll eingerichtet und makellos sauber. Sie wurden täglich gereinigt, und die Handtücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Bettwäsche hochwertig und duftend. In jedem Zimmer gab es einen Safe. Die Badezimmer waren modern, und alle Sanitäreinrichtungen funktionierten einwandfrei.

Es gibt einen Aufzug im Haus, was äußerst praktisch ist, da man normalerweise mit Gepäck anreist.

Das Haus liegt in einer kleinen Straße in der Altstadt, nahe dem Zentrum. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig, da es kaum Verkehr gibt. Es gibt ein paar gute Cafés für das Frühstück in der Nähe. Nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt befinden sich der Taksim-Platz mit seinen vielfältigen Verkehrsanbindungen und die Istiklal-Straße mit ihren unzähligen Cafés, Restaurants und Geschäften.

Cons:

Wir haben keinerlei Beanstandungen, nur eine kurze Anmerkung: Die Zimmer verfügen zwar über eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank und Spüle, es gibt jedoch keinen Herd oder Kochgeschirr zur Zubereitung des Frühstücks. Uns hat das nicht gestört, da wir immer auswärts gefrühstückt haben.

Bevor wir die Unterkunft gebucht haben, haben wir alle Bewertungen gelesen. Wir können nun alle Spitzenbewertungen voll und ganz bestätigen. Einige der negativen Bewertungen sind für uns jedoch schwer nachvollziehbar.

Die unmittelbare Umgebung mag zwar nicht besonders attraktiv sein, doch einige der leerstehenden, heruntergekommenen Häuser werden nach und nach renoviert. Die Gegend lässt sich jedoch nicht als zwielichtig oder unsicher bezeichnen – es gibt in der Nähe weder ein Rotlichtviertel noch einen Nachtclub. Wir fühlten uns auch nachts sicher und sind keinen zwielichtigen Gestalten begegnet.

Die Straße ist steil – wie die meisten Straßen in Istanbul. Schließlich liegt die Stadt auf mehreren Hügeln, weshalb viele Straßen steil oder sogar sehr steil sind. Folglich müssen sich Menschen, die nicht fit oder in ihrer Mobilität eingeschränkt sind, nach einer anderen Unterkunft umsehen.

Die äußerst negative Bewertung eines Gastes, der angibt, für drei Personen gebucht zu haben (obwohl in den Booking.com-Angaben „ALLEINREISEND“ steht), und behauptet, die Eigentümerin habe eine Zusatzgebühr für die zweite Person verlangt – halten wir für völlig unzutreffend.

Pros:

The location was perfect, so close to Taksim square which is the area we wanted to be. The room was ideal and had everything we needed. Sultana the owner was always available and so helpful and just a lovely person to deal with.

Like staying with a close friend
Pros:

I loved my stay at the White Swan. Sultan was so welcoming and warm, it felt like staying with an old friend. It was a clean, spacious and comfortable room, conveniently located and quiet, and Sultan was so helpful and always available to answer any questions or offer advice. I was a solo female traveler and I felt perfectly safe here. Will definitely return next time I’m in Istanbul.

Realy recommend this place! Awesome!
Pros:

Really nice host, Real good service, mood and state of room and halls. Good and stable wifi connection. It was a plesure to see Ruijie as a network devices.

Cons:

Noise of fridge, but it can be switched off. Also, the street is quite noisy. But it is not host's issue, just location.
The most disappointment inside the room: The installation of fire-alarm what was drilled barbarian way across the decorated celling.

Everything was perfect! I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful hotel. The room is cozy and well equipped, with a really comfortable bed.

Quartier sympa dans son jus
Arrivée autonome en pleine nuit : simple avec les indications

Cons:

Quartier un peu bruyant parfois aux pleines heures du jour (travaux dans le quartier) mais ça gêne pas la nuit.

Большинство отзывов, оставленных об отеле соотвествует действительности, поэтому много писать нет смысла.. Хороший отель, выполненный в турецком стиле. Самое главное - все очень чисто и аккуратно. Хорошее качественное постельное белье. Есть лифт. Заехали без проблем, хозяйка всегда на связи. Про мнения о районе с сомнительными личностями, скорее, это преувеличение. Видели поздно вечером таких парней, даже поговорили- обычные люди, коих полно вокруг Таксима. Зато здесь тихо, никтот не сигналить и не кричит.

Friendly owner Sultana provides Spacious and clean apartment unit. Few groceries nearby. Walking distance to Taksim square. Lots of shopping, Atm and restaurants in Taksim Meydani.

Cons:

Unit situated in Taksim hilly area. Have to walk up the hill to reach main road. Roads leading to unit is narrow. Fit for one car.
