Our elevator is currently out of order and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. All accessible rooms are located on the Ground Floor but we understand that this may impact guests in other rooms. Please feel free to contact us to discuss if you believe this will impact your stay.

Lovely location, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely and clean,amenities spot on. Windermere town centre was walking distance would highly recommend.
Food was delicious. Staff very helpful. Room was comfortable.
Poor view from room. Spider webs in room. Too many dogs allowed in hotel. WiFi wasn't working.
Breakfast was very good, staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us and our dog. Cream tea which we paid £24.95 including fizz, was huge, much bigger than we anticipated or expected. Our room was comfortable ( room 19) first night and then we changed as we stayed an extra night (room 34) slightly more expensive but bigger.
Wifi issues after storm, but to be honest not really a massive issue. The only real issue was changing rooms. Checked out of first room, but couldn't then check back in to second room until 3pm which was inconvenient for us

The hotel had beautiful gardens with a great view of lake Windermere.
One night we had a meal at their restaurant .I ordered a steak and it was very tough and I didn't even get a steak knife with it so it was very difficult to eat.Not impressed 😑
Grounds were nice and very well maintained. Nice to see EV charging, but disappointing to see EVs’s occupying them but not charging, we did not have an EV this time, but are conscious of how they are policed
Parts of the hotel are very tired and in need of refurbishment, the room was ice cold on arrival and I had to turn on the radiator myself, no WiFi or internet access, my wife needed to finalise some international business. Change your address to the small lane, update your parking area to accommodate more modern bigger vehicles.

Mooie plek, prima hotel. Het is een beetje vergane glorie, maar dat is juist ook wel sfeervol. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Zwembad is prima! Goed restaurant, goed ontbijt.

This was such a cute little hotel in a great location walking distance from the centre of Windermere. The facilities were excellent, we enjoyed the pool and the staff were all super friendly. A great place to stay in the lakes! Good value for money too.

Would have preferred more home cooked food in the restaurant. Breakfast was good - especially the cooked to order poached eggs.
A nice old building
On arrival, I noticed the hotel did not smell clean and fresh. There was a musty odor”visible dirt”,This made the stay uncomfortable and fell short of what I expect from a hotel at this standard. Also book a sea view got a room looking at the car park was told that’s all we had left all Seaview had been booked very disappointed
